ZF Transmission! Super psyched! Brought to my attention by RAT540 engineering blog
I was a bit weary about using this on a 2019 Acura MDX 9 speed ZF transmission. Did 2 drain and fills within 12hrs. Will do another drain and fill with its next oil change. I also used it in the rear differential so far it’s working excellent. Tested #1 wear protection by RAT540 Blog even edging out Amsoil OE and Signature Series ATF. UPDATE: I used this awesome oil on a Mercedes 722.9+ trans service which had that weird blue thin ATF and this stuff at 80,000mi and it picks up where it left off. Smooth. Did my LX470 @291,000 and another friend’s LX470 at 190,000mi. Smooth as can be. The Acura runs very well. So this works as an “ideal” Dex/Merc multivehicle. If your trans shifted perfectly before, don’t be afraid to use this stuff! It will protect your trans better than oem. With any trans, I suggest changing ATF much earlier than the manuals state, even with this ATF.

Top recommended for F350 Transmissions
I was comparing many fluids for my 2000 F350 Diesel. I settled on the Mobil 1 for a few reasons, one is it is rated highly as far as using a high quality oil base stock, and decreased heat and increased performance. On the 7.3 diesels there are a lot of nuts who do tons and tons of research on the fluids they use, and they almost all placed Mobil1 next to the race oils like Redline, and Royal Purple. These cases help take the bite out of the fluid costs, they are $10/qt localy, which would have been $160 for me to flush my transmission and flush the Hydro Brake system. With these cases they were delivered to my door and for a discount and after the job i had a few extra quarts incase i need to top off next week or spilled some.I can say hands down putting the Synthetic ATF made a night and day difference in my Hydro Brake system which had lots of hard spots steering and weak brakes. It is a system that was rated for ATF and is commonly forgotten about. For the transmission i was very worried about keeping an OEM rated fluid in there which had to be synthetic and with the correct additives for the transmission, these trannys are really taking a beating, the diesel has so much power i did not want to give it an excuse to damage it self with heat or poor fluid.Overall besides the price i will be using Mobil 1 for now on in my Ford

Works great in my 2008 Ford Ranger
My truck has 172K on the clock and had a nasty habit of slamming into reverse if the engine wasn't fully warmed up.I had had the transmission power flushed by a reputable transmission shop 50K earlier so this time I thought I would drop the pan myself, and change the filter and fluid.I had read very good things about this fluid and it has lived up to my expectations.BTW, when I dropped the pan I found quite a mess in there, besides a thick layer of particles on the magnet, a heavy layer of grease like substance all over the bottom of the pan. My advise to all is that a power flush that doesn't drop the pan to clean the filter and magnet is a waste of money. The truck shifts much smoother now, I highly recommend this stuff.

The only ATF I would recommend and use for ALL my cars
Been using Mobil 1 ATF in the different generations for almost 20 yrs in all my cars starting back on a new 93 Accord that had well over 200k with NO trans issues when it was traded in. I tend to keep my cars a long time and do my own maintenance so I see the value in getting the BEST fluids for the cars. I change the fluid (drain and refill ~ 3 qts) every 15k miles. The fluid that comes out looks as good as what I put back in. NO overheating, NO discoloration, NO burnt smell....and smooth shifting, reliable shifts in my 93 Mustang, my second 93 Accord and 01 Cherokee. Same fluid in all of them.I bought the second Accord used from the original owner who had Honda do all the service work. They changed the ATF fluid every 30k or so with Honda fluid. It had to be replaced at 97k with a reman unit. And the car was on the highway for most of its miles. Everyone knows that Honda screwed up the filter system in the trans so I added and external Magnefine filter and used synthetic since I got the car at 104k miles. The new reman trans had only 7k on it. At 178k, everything works as it should. Highly recommended and this is a great value compared to AutoZone or Advance Auto.

PROJECT FARM SHOWS FAVORABLE RESULTS
PROJECT FARM is an awesome channel on U-TOOB that does common sense testing on many common products in a semi-controlled way. Results are untainted and are for all to see, often in sped-up time. The channel is not sponsored by anyone but those who wish to contribute. All products are paid for with the testor's own money received from his supporters. Some of the testing is done just for fun of it, like testing pig fat as a small engine lubricant, which actually showed surprising results. On the other hand, Todd, the owner of the channel, also does some serious testing, like cold and hot flow rates on various leading brand synthetic oils, like this new Amazon Basics synthetic 5W-30 oil. This oil actually flowed better in cold and hot flow tests compared to Mobil 1 and it's lubricity, while not quite as good as Mobil 1 5W-30, was "almost" as good, but for it's MUCH lower price, seems like a better value for most users that do average driving.

A warning to GM Dexron using trans. owners
I purchased this Mobil 1 atf for my Miata and it worked extremely well. The Miata shifts like brand new. I later replaced all 12 quarts in my GMC Sierra with this oil. The transmission always shifted smoothly, however it seemed as if with this Mobil 1 that I noticed even smoother shifting, however, there was a shuddering feeling that I had never felt before in the 4L60e. I drove the GM for about 100 miles and shudder continued, I then replaced the Mobil 1 with the GM dexron full synthetic atf and the shudder quickly went away. If you own a GM, based on my experience, the 4L60e transmission wants the real dexron, I should have played it safe and went with the AC Delco Dexron in the first place. This says it works for GM Dexron, but it didn't work well in my GMC Sierra. Great atf nevertheless. The GM oil. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EGOR5JO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4cZcFbXXWZ1ME
