Delightfully scary and out-creeps the best known hooded villain - Dr. Doom
The name Grim Reaper is a familiar one in folklore. Marvel Comics has a villain called the Grim Reaper - an enemy of the Avengers. This 6 inch DC version of Mr. GR is less known but he definitely out-creeps the Marvel villain and gives Dr. Doom stiff competition for the title of Most Sinister Comic Villain. I never heard of or seen Mr. DC GR until I stumbled upon him in the Amazon.Com sales website and it was love at first sight. I am not a Batman fan or a DC Comics fan but you don't have to like Batman to like this bad man. He's too good-looking to have a bad review. When I purchase an action figure, it isn't always because I am a fan. An obscure hero or villain , DC or Marvel, will have a place in my heart so long as it is well-made, affordable and look Hell-of-a- good! An evil skull mask with black hood, black cape, blood red costume and a large scythe - beautifully creepy! Looks matters more than fame in my shopping preferences. This is why I just ordered from Amazon.Com two new McFarlane Wonder Woman figures even though I am not a Wonder Woman fan. Show me a nicely sculpted figure that is sweetly eye candy (like the latest movie Black Widow figure) or one that is very sinister or beautifully ugly and I will become a fan.A lack of articulation does not matter to me for I don't see this as a toy - it's a work of art! Nobody complains that the Mona Lisa portrait lacks articulation. Highly recommended for all collectors of hooded villains. Grab him before his price rockets. Some 50 years ago, I had an unforgettable nightmare that I was stalked at night at my elementary school (deserted, in darkness and up on a hill in a quiet neighbourhood) by a hooded villain called the Invincible Man who was actually the Super Skrill in disguise - see Fantastic Four #32 - 1964. Well, now that Mr. DC GR is my house guest, I can expect to see him in a nightmare in a matter of time along with Dr. Doom. Bring it on!

Nearly 100% accurate
Very accurate likeness of the character. The only flaw is the mask "eyes" need to be painted red. I thought I'd have to modify the figure in the back to store the blades like the sheathes of the armored suit from the books. The circular whatever u call it that the cape plugs into serves function nicely here. It may not have been intended that way but the effect of hanging the blades on it serves the same purpose and the way it looks once they're hanging of of that circulat piece is very close to how it looks in the books

Don't Fear the Reaper...but Watch the Knees
Clearly one of the best, most comic-book accurate figures from DC we've seen in a long time. The Reaper's one of Batman's more obscure villains; a retcon character created to show his "year two" back story. Full red leather body armor, hooded "metallic skull" helmet/mask, just like the comic. He comes with two spiked scythe-shaped weapons, just like the comic, but these can be swapped out with 2 gloved fists. Head rotates 360 but doesn't really move vertically. The heavy "spiked leather" chest piece is molded all in one with the black cape, and does restrict movement somewhat. Biceps swivel, single jointed elbow, hinged wrist (for fists). Ab crunch, 360 waist swivel. Side hinged joints for legs to allow for extreme "splits", legs kick out about 45 degrees, and thigh swivel. Slight up/down hinge joint for foot movement. He looks nearly perfect- except he doesn't have red eyes, which is an odd error, because even on the box art the eyes are red. This is minor though compared to the knee joints. Please use caution bending the knees...they are a softer plastic and easily breakable. Single hinge joints so again, don't flex too much. Overall though a really good figure!

From Batman: Year Two.
It’s a good figure based on the Batman: Year Two storyline from a while back, partially drawn by Todd McFarlane. I have to admit, I’d like to see Todd tackle this figure in his run on DC’s toy line. We’ll see.

The best! Packaging for figure was great
The best! Packaging for figure was great! I just wish that I hadn’t paid so much for the figure because now I can find it at my local Walmart every now and then! Nevertheless, I didn’t want to miss the chance to get this character! It’s a great figure but could use a cloth cape for better poseability otherwise a great figure!

Obscure character necessary for any Bat fan
This figure remained elusive since its release. One of the first unique Batman villains to be rendered in plastic in over five years. A must have for any DC or Batman figure collection

Bel prodotto
