Amazing gun!!
First off, its huge! I did not know it was going to be this big from the picture. It has awesome mods that you can put on in so many different ways. There are three different shooting settings, there's single, fire burst fire (which shoots 3 darts in a burst, you just press the fire trigger once) And continuous fire mode (witch is like a machine gun, you have to hold down the fire trigger to shoot multiple times) A few things I would say is that 1: The front barrel attachments are a tad bit loose (you can move them slightly back and forth.) 2: Sometimes when in burst mode the darts don't shoot out and when you get the dart out part of it is shredded (but still useable) it also happens sometimes when in continuous fire mode but not as often. 3: If you getting this for younger kids they may find it frustrating unlocking the access door because the lock is flat. 4: When using continuous fire the darts run out pretty fast, thankfully the gun comes with an extra clip so when the first one runs out you can quickly switch to the next one. The extra clip slides into the back of the storage stock. When I bought this gun I also got a pack of 200 extra darts, Little Valentine 200 Pcs Dart Refill Pack for Nerf N-Strike Elite Modulus Glow at Dark Bullets - White. And that's it!

Good gun! Doesn't jam much!
The Modulus Regulator is a very good gun, and one of the reasons that I bought it is because of its function to switch between semi- automatic, burst fire, and automatic. I also liked that it held two clips, (one in the gun, one in the the stock for storage) and because the stock was very sturdy, unlike the Modulus ECS 10, which has a very unstable stock. I bought it for a Nerf War that I had, and it worked pretty good for what I intended it to do. I also bought the Nerf Disruptor, for a smaller gun in case the Regulator jammed. The Regulator didn't jam as much as I thought it would, but was very hard to un-jam when it did jam. because the jam door doesn't open very wide, it is kind of a tight squeeze to get your finger or a bullet in there to get the other one out. I didn't jam enough to make much of a difference in combat, and so I liked the gun. The light that comes on when it is out of bullets is annoying, because the bullet has to be in exactly right place in order to trigger the sensor, and when the light comes on falsely,( and on any other time the light comes on) it cuts power to the conveyor belt that pushes the bullet in the the fly wheels. It takes four C batteries, and for that reason, is hard to hold up with one hand when you have all the attachments off, making it into a hand gun type gun. That said, when the stock is on, it isn't hard to hold up with two hands at all. It works well with different kinds of bullets, even suction cup darts. I would not recommend this gun for any one that is under seven years of age, because this gun is long, and can be very bulky if you are small. Over all, this is a good gun, and it did what I intended it to do when I bought it.

Pure Awesome - select-fire makes you feel like an action hero!
There's just one thing I dislike about this gun, and that's the "out of ammo" light that lights up when you are out of ammo. The damn thing blinks for 15 seconds, and there is no way to stop it unless you feel like undoing the screws and dumping the batteries. Would have been nice if they'd made it so it reset when you ejected the magazine and popped in a fresh one, but whatever. Also, it is sometimes a bit hard to tell if you are in single-shot, burst, or auto, because of the way the switch and its indicators are printed. Also, every accessory except the stock is useless garbage, at least IMO.Also, I am 5' 11" and the gun is a /little/ awkward for me to shoulder. However, if you can't already tell from the 5-star review, none of that was a deal-breaker for me. This gun is GREAT fun. The selector works just like it says on the tin and makes you feel like an action hero (or villain, if that's your jam). Some people will point out there's no need for 3-round burst mode in a Nerf gun, but those people are mostly dead inside and cannot appreciate fun. My plan is to have a drum magazine, empty it on full-auto, then swap in the 12-shot clip stored in the stock and kick it into single-shot mode for a last hurrah. Can't wait to test it out in a Nerf war.

Awesome nerf gun, tons of options, reliable, great for all ages.
Great nerf gun!!!!! Has multiple builds and my son loves he can have a small gun or go all out and it taller than him lol (3yo). Has 3 different shoot types which my son loves “full auto”. The batteries last a decent amount of time. I would recommend taking some cooking spray on the inside of the barrel. The darts did seem to start to get hung up, just from the darts going through the wheels over time. Not a flaw just things you have to do with wheel guns from time to time. A plus is it does shoot pretty quick so you get decent range out of it. The packaging was not store packaging but your not paying store price. It was I believe brown box but with what you save over store price I’ll take the brown box. It was still packaged and separated out not like it was just all thrown in a big box. Overall it was a win with our son and it is probably his favourite nerf gun he owns (has like 15).
