Decent speakers, they definitely sound pretty good for the money for sure! I think the mounting system sucks. There is no spot where there is a complete hole for the screw to go through and I personally don't trust half a screw hole to hold anything in an automotive environment.

I used these to replace the rear speakers in my nissan 240. They sound pretty good hooked up to my Sony unit that puts out 55 watts per channel. They sound very clear and detailed along with more bass than i thought a small 4x6 inch speaker would produce but don't expect them to rattle the windows. I would deduct a half star because the plastic template is too flimsy and bends easily unless the fit is perfect. The template that comes with their 6 1/2" round speakers are very strong.The template was useless to me anyway because it seemed my 240 used 4x6 inch speakers with oversized 5x7 inch speaker frames. I had to get innovative so I used my dremel to cut a 4x6 opening out of the frame of the original clarion speakers. I had to cut off the screw tabs from the frame of the new speakers because they interfered with screws of the original speakers. Since the speakers face upwards I just set them in with a thick bead of silicone caulk.Every list I see says the original rear speakers are 4x6 but I wonder if i could have easily installed 5x7s because the cones of the original clarion speakers look a little bit larger than the pioneers.

Fit perfectly into oem bracket off of oem tweeter. Just spliced neg and positive and it fit perfectly! Can’t wait to hear them once my project is up, from the other reviews I have no doubt I will love the way they sound.

I added a pioneer stereo to my Cat 239d trackloader. Surprisingly it had speakers already installed. After installing the stereo, I thought the sound sucked. I ordered these to replace the factory ones, and they fit perfectly without cutting holes in head liner. They definitely sound better, but the bass boost is to much for these speakers. I primarily stream Spotify, as I can't get the antenna to grab any stations. There are plates mounted to the cab frame that unbolt with 2 bolts. If you removed them, you could make some new brackets and possibly put a bigger speaker in. Hopefully this helps.

Worked good

I have installed 2 sets of these speakers in my 1994 Chevy C1500 Silverado truck, and they sound great. I also purchased a new Pioneer Stereo (which I still have not installed yet, because I am still building a new custom center counsel for it). I have always liked the sound of the Pioneer speakers and stereo's that I have purchased in the past. They sound great and are easy to operate. Thanks for great products.

Excelente buen producto

Not impressed at all with these speakers. I've been an audiophile my entire life, and while these do put out sound, it's not nearly as great as advertised.
