My spice cabinet has two "fast movers" - this and bacon salt. Chicken salt is such a useful seasoning. I first heard about it as a preferred french fry seasoning in Australia (though, I believe their version actually has chicken in it and this stuff is vegan). It definitely does that job well. It's also an amazing seasoning to use in making home made soups, sauces, and gravies. It wakes up the taste of mac and cheese or a sandwich. Sometimes I'll dust a salad with it and skip the dressing. I wish it wasn't so expensive - this 3-pack is the least expensive way I've found to get it, but that's still a lot to pay for a basic seasoning and at some point I'll have to try mixing my own or sampling other brands. In the meantime, though, this is indispensable in our kitchen.

Discovered this product at a vegan festival over four years ago. I despaired of ever finding it again when my supplies ran low. I looked everywhere, nothing until I took advantage of the foodstuff items available on Amazon. This product is a dream. I use to flavor sauces, vegetables, grains and various proteins. I also use it in soups, casseroles and roasts as well. It is delicious even on popcorn! And, it is chicken free but your tongue won’t know the difference.

If you like salty foods, you'll love this stuff. It's basically a season salt that you can put on anything, but the flavor is unique to any other season salt I've tried. You can literally put it on anything and it tastes good. We bought several bottles for stocking stuffers because it's unique and the name is funny. I guess they have to include "vegan" on the label just so people don't really think they are making season salt from chickens. Lol.

We like it OK...a light dusting is fine on meat, vegetables, popcorn. Oddly, though, it seems very salty, more so even than plain salt. I assume something in the spice mix contributes to that impression, but all three of the people who’ve tried it agreed. Nobody actively disliked it, and we’ll eventually use it, but with a very light hand.

So far I’ve used it in nearly all meat & vegetable dishes I cook. I like the way it enhances flavor without too much saltiness. I needed to cutback salt intake for medical reasons, and can do it now without losing the flavor. Oh, I love just a dash on popcorn, too!

I always have some Australian Chicken Salt on hand, but decided to give this a try. I always use it on fries, but it's very versatile. It's great on veggies, eggs, meat and anything that needs salt and a touch of flavor! This was definitely a different flavor than the AU version, but I still really like it. It smells a bit more like curry than AU kind. Recommend it!

Awesome seasoning. Adds that little extra to your dishes. Some people are complaining it is salty, well it is SALT! Just use it in place of your table salt and you won't need disappointed!

A friend from Australia introduced me to chicken salt. They use it on almost everything. I added it to my chicken breast, thighs and wings that I do on the grill. The flavor is spectacular! I won’t do chicken without it.
