First time I’ve bought a silent clock and omg the difference it makes is huge! It was strange at first but now I’m never going back to a ticking clock! It’s great, stylish and built well.

Excellent for its price. Sits on office wall keeping very accurate time, and silent as stated in spec.Basic, minimalist appearance, and clear to read without serious reflections from lights.Delivered quick and well packaged.

As stated in the heading, this clock is large faced, yet the hands and numerals are not especially 'bold' to see and we subsequently discovered the price is a little high despite the sweep movement. This light touch with numeral highlighting and hand colour is visible in pictures alongside alternatives with bold black-on-white numerals and hands. I'm sure this kind of 'subtlety' would suit many people, however.

Clear face and dial, easily read from a distance. This has a silent sweep second hand which is preferred by those in my family who have the hearing of a bat. I usually struggle to see which way round the battery fits into clocks like this but this one has a leaflet and a sticker which indicates the positioning of the battery and emphasises ensuring the +sign is fitted first. All well and good except the label stuck just above the battery compartment has a diagram with the positive to the right whereas it is actually on the left. I do wonder how many clocks are returned as, with the battery inserted as instructed, it wouldn't work. The cost of £8 is very reasonable and IMO this would be a 5* buy if it weren't for the incorrect instructions.Update 28/04/24 : Now had this for a fortnight and it keeps really good time unlike the one it replaced which gained about 5 minutes a day. Shame they no longer provide an adjuster to speed up or slow down the mechanism as used to be provide on older style clocks. Have uincreased the rating to 5* accordingly.

This is a very nice looking clock, but it is very flimsy, when you try to insert the battery the mechanism moves, and it effects the hands, and the clock does not work properly. I ordered one, and unfortunately I did not test it, and the return window ran out, I liked the look of the clock, so I ordered another one, and that had the same problem. I returned it straight away. I had to bin the other one, and lost £13.99 I would not recommend this clock
