I put this on the fertility idol from Indiana Jones printed in resin and it stayed on very well once dry (which was fast). I did apply a gloss varnish, as I wanted the "gold" to glisten, but the pirates of the Caribbean coins I painted have no varnish and they rub together a lot and haven't lost their gold rub coating so far. I'd say in day-to-day handling, not for a very long time.
