Does it come with the 18tpi blade shown in the picture?

mine came with the 24 tpi, its a good hacksaw, i use it to cut out my knife blanks, .187 x 1.5 1084 steel and it cuts through like butter, better than my starrett hacksaw

What country is this saw made in?

Sweden I believe. This is a very high quality saw, the best I've owned. I beat the crap out it and use it at work all the time. The blades they give you work great, I've even cut some tool steel with them. The only thing I found weird was they put a ring on the saw, I'm assuming to attach to a lanyard. I just removed that. I've had mine a while now with no problems, quality is excellent.

How do you change or tighten the blade? I have found the lever but am not sure how far to turn it!

Turn it til it is hard to push down? It's more of feel thing and blade fitment than set amount of turns to tighten the blade.
