Q: will this be ok to solder copper to stainless steel

Rosin-based fluxes are not effective for soldering stainless steel. Use a stronger, acid-based flux.

Q: would this be good for aluminium?

This contains ferric chloride enhanced with hydrochloric acid, this makes it highly corrosive to metals. I would not bring it any where near Aluminium.

Q: Is this the same as bakers fluid?

I've never used Bakers, but it's ok for standard soldering. Rather sticky substance though - not my favourite!
