I have always been a fan of Alfa's poetry and have always loved seeing the daily updates and messages she puts on Instagram and Facebook, I bought this book as found one of her notes hit me more than any others, I contacted her directly and she was kind enough to reply and talk a small amount, it made my day and I hadn't felt that happy in so long, this book has helped me get through the difficult period I am in and I love it so much, I will always cherish it! Thankyou Alfa!

A beautiful book written by a wonderful young writer. It is so emotive and speaks straight to your heart. You will recognise your story, your pain and your journey in her writing!My favourite section is "Squall" with my favourite poem being "You Want Him to Miss You"A heart wrenching, tear making look into my own pain.A joy to own, and I hope she continues to write on Facebook whilst allowing us the opportunity to own other touchable versions of her beautiful words

Moving words. Really lovely, satisfying read.

In her first book of poetry Alfa has opened her heart and mind to us. With so few words this poet is able to achieve conveying her inner passion, telling a story through snippets and moments of life. I very much recommend this as a permanent addition to your book shelf. These words remind us we are human and we feel everything that the rest of humanity is experiencing too, they achieve this through eloquence and elegance.
