I HATE spiders so I bought this to spray down my new little outdoor garden shed. Now, whenever I go to get inside, I see no spiders nor bugs of any kind really, and that makes me happy! I respray around the doors and floor every so often, but it’s been great at keeping the spiders away. We have another bigger outdoor shed that I won’t go near because my husband doesn’t use this spray inside. He isn’t fearful of them, like me 😅

I have around thirty hoyas, and a handful that are grouped together hadn't grown in quite some time. Some fellow Hoya growers suspected that my issue could be Flat Mites, as they are almost impossible to spot, but a common issue when an otherwise healthy plant doesn't grow. This spray was recommended as others had success with it, plus it's so gentle that it won't harm the plant. I was advised to treat bi-weekly, for six to eight weeks. I'm on week six and have new growth on three of five plants. I will treat once more in two weeks to play it safe. I spray the plants down thoroughly in the bathtub, at night, and out of caution, I wait a full twenty four hours before placing back in their usual spots to receive sunlight. The smell is strong, and it does linger, but the product is effective and easy to use.

I had 16 tomato plants that had leaf spot so I decided to buy this and try to save them before it got too bad (it was about 1/3 the way up). It was tiring on my hand to spray all 16 large plants but it was enough to barely have a drip going on all of them. Two separate applications of this (a couple weeks apart) and it stopped the leaf spot from spreading anymore. Highly impressed.

I bought this to kill mushroom spores in my dirt for my office plants. It does that well. I have not had a single reoccurrence of mushroom growth, so I would give it 5 stars for that aspect, however if that was the only thing they claimed on their label to do I would stop there and say buy this for mushroom spores. I mean go ahead and do that, as this does work for that. Except it claims to kill insects, mites and is gentle on plants. It will kill gnats if it directly hits them, although it is not designed for that bug. But it is not as gentle on my plants as I would have hoped. It does say on most plants, but I have 5 varieties of plants in my office, 3 it is not good for, it causes the leaves to weaken, and or turn brown. It would be better if they listed either the plants it is safe to use on, or the plants it is not safe to use on (whichever list is shorter) that way as a consumer we do not have to guess. So do not use on your Christmas cactus, house palm, Amaryllis.

I love this Safer brand ready to use spray!I really am pleased to find this spray that is safe to use right up until the day before harvesting vegetables .I don’t grow a big garden anymore but have a couple of raised beds. Simple things like hot peppers, tomatoes squash, lettuce ….and collard greens . I had fine netting over the collards but the wind had loosened it and I ended up with cabbage moths caught inside the mesh! Ughh. That meant I ended up with cabbage worms chomping my collards.I sent for this spray , but before it arrived the damage was quite heavy to the collard leaves. I have followed the directions on the bottle of the SAFER spray and used it twice now. Yes, the damaged leaves are damaged , but the new growth is coming along and looks fine . So it’s working!I even gave my other veggie plants a treatment and so far…no bugs, mildew or diseases .Yay!This spray has near zero smell! That’s fantastic! The ingredients are Potassium Salts of fatty acids, and Sulphur, so nothing funky or dangerous !I have a few rose bushes that I’m going to start treating too. I’ve not seen any aphid or Japanese beetle damage as of yet , nor any black spot, but it’s only a matter of time .I like that I can use this on a variety of plants.I also have two new blueberry bushes . It’s good to know I have something safe that I can use on those year old plants!This is a fantastic and safer product to use around one’s yard . I have pets so I don’t like using dangerous chemicals. Nor do I want to kill off beneficial insects . This seems like a better way to control the damaging insects and diseases.Excellent product. Highly recommend

I'm by no means an expert gardener but I keep a small garden and find all the options to prevent plant disease and fungus overwhelming and hard to figure out. I can say that I like the basic protection that this provides and it's simple and straightforward to use. I did have some issues keeping my plants healthy last year so I have made a concerted effort to pay more attention to my plants health this year. I found it was really effective at keeping different types of bugs away from vegetable plants which I think is the most noticeable issue I have. So far, I haven't found that it has adversely affected my plants health.
