Yes, the version that we at Sir Hobby sell is the English one. We're a British company and all our games are an English.

What age of child would this be suitable and would you recommend it please?

The game is not too hard, I would say 8+. However, the game can turn on a sixpence in terms of luck, cheating is easy, and the temptation to cheat is huge. So if you are a very competitive family there might be a lot of tears, either because someone crashes and burns just as they think they're doing really well, or because someone is caught cheating. If you are happy to play a fun game, and enjoy trying to do your best, I would definitely recommend this game - we have members of our family that don't like games that much, but are happy to play.

We ordered this game last week and played it last night. We are missing a piece, the plain green victory point marker. How do we get one?

I would recommend any suitable replacement token as I do not think you can order off BGG or anywhere else, just that piece alone. Sorry to hear it was missing and not a duplicate :D
