This is probably the best varnish I’ve ever used. I had recently painted my bedroom furniture and used clear varnish to protect the tops of dressing table, bedside tables etc and the result was brilliant. Although when you open the tin it looks like milk but is really clear once applied. The added bonus is that it is odourless and is touch dry within 20 minutes.

I had hoped this might be a thicker solution so I would not need as many coats to kitchen and bathroom doors. I found I needed at least 3 coats per side. The varnish does dry very quickly so able to finish job in a day. Very easy to apply and did not run as was not a watery solution. Very happy with how it went especially as dried within 30 mins Would recommend to friends and family

The varnish was really easy to apply to my wooden product, I purchased the clear colour which left a beautiful shine to my handmade item, it’s just what I needed to add the finishing touch to my hand made, sentimental box made of match sticks. It was easy to use, didn’t leave a mess, I would certainly purchase again or advise to purchase I had loads left after 3 applications which made me super satisfied with the value of money.

Works pretty well for what it does, but if you're trying to get a high gloss shine, look elsewhere.....The water based and quick drying formula goes on quickly and easily and the fast dry time means you can easily get 3 or 4 coats done in a day but the down side of that is that because it's viscous and rapid drying it's almost impossible to avoid the brush marks showing clearly in the final finish. You can sand them out of course, but they're quite deep so it takes a lot of sanding and many grades of sandpaper.If you're after a high gloss shine that's even and ripple free, you might as well go for a traditional oil based varnish as with all the sanding this one needs, you won't save any time in the end.

About this varnish - I'm very happy how quickly it dried, I really have not one bad word about the time it took to touch dry. The varnish is clear and one coat is more than enough for most of the furniture.I used this for a dinning table I previously painted black. My only problem is that it leaves brush marks. I did two coats to make sure our table is protected and used only half of the can, so even though the can is quite small, it definitely lasts for more than you think.So in the end I'm giving 4 starts due to brush marks. It didn't smell, it was very easy to use and quick delivery.
