Very good quality and easy to fit.Bought to replace my original with a broken door due to wind damage and decided to buy a second one to match as it looked so good. The locks, hinges and overall construction are very good quality and the door can be hung to hinge from either side. Also included is a reversible plastic insert to label the box appropriately with an "E" or "G" depending on the service within.When fitting make sure you fit the door so that that the latch is orientated "up" and drops down to lock the door not the other way around as this is why most doors swing open and break... the wind rattles them and eventually the latch drops down to open the door. With it correctly orientated if it rattles in the wind it will only serve to engage the locking bar further so that the wind can't shake the door loose causing it to open.Very easy to fit over the existing old cabinet, just remove the old door leaving the cabinet frame in place and this fits over/around the old one. This does make it slightly larger than the original installation though so if your cabinets are particularly close together or have another obstruction very close by then these may not be suitable but for 99% of the time they will be perfect.

Tight fit, looks good, easy to use. They come with an ‘e’ or a ‘g’ on. We ended up with the wrong letter, but weren’t offered a choice. Can be used either way up if you ignore the letter to allow door opening (hinges) from either side.

LOOKS FANTASTIC.Practical solution to an unsightly I'll fitting meter box.Straightforward to fit, video with instructions to follow, will be getting another for gas meter.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fits well over old meter boxes when the door has broken.Bit fiddly when fitting to the wall with the screws as there's not much room to hold screw in place straight, but we managed it with s few choice words!Don't let that put you off thou.Its smart and does the job.

Good construction and easy to install. Suitable to replace damaged meter enclosure door or frame. Once installed provides a good secure cover to electricity and gas meters.
