Gets better with time
I bought this to replace my Atari Flashback 8 Gold edition, which I loved and I was torn in two whether to get rid of it but I am glad I did.It took time for me to get used to the Atari Gamestation Pro but it is worth the effort. First problem was the controllers lack of response but this was down to having a low powered power supply; power supply is not included with this device. Make sure your power supply can give 2A minimum. However, where this Atari shines is the SD card slot! I have loaded all my old Atari ROM's, including Arcade ROM's and it works a treat!Having said that; the games included as standard are also awesome! I discovered some new vector graphics games, which are amazing. ie. QuantumLiterally hours of fun here. Get this, you NEED it.

Amazing
I bought a used one but was in very good condition. I am pleased with it and the ability to add and play games from other systems is a bonus. Though there are limitations to this and I updated to the latest firmware which makes it better and easier. The controller is fairly decent but can be fiddly to use the "B" and "C" buttons resulting in having to hold the stick in a weird way to utilise them. Other controllers can be connected to it such as an Xbox controller but I have not tried this. I would also have preferred if the controllers were rechargeable. These are just small quibbles but overall it is great for Atari games 2600, 5200 and 7800.

Item was advertised as NEW……..
Item was advertised as new, but it most definetley was not. I had already read a review to this extent but decided to believe all the positive ones I had read and ordered. The box arrived and all the seals had been opened, the items inside had been used and had slight dirt/scuffs/fingerprints on them, the instruction booklet was very well thumbed, and all the leads had been untied as their cabletie was present but not near any cables. Massive shame as I really looked forwards to giving this to ym brother as a birthday present!

Slight lag when using the supplied joysticks but good despite this and worth buying
I ordered this for a number of reasons. I already own a number of early atari products and cartridges and really enjoy the old games of the 2600 and 7800 and prefer using this rather than risk constantly using my retro consoles and I like collecting these updated version of old consoles. The console comes with a number of 2600, 5200, 7800 and some arcade games thst you can run from the main dashboard. It's quite a range and they all work fine and are fun to play. The really great thing about this is you can put 2600, 5200 and 7800 game roms on to a micro sd card. Doing this works straight out of the box but it is fiddly but there has been a new firmware update that can be downloaded and installed from the My Arcade website. You will need a Windows PC with usb a ports and a usb a to usb c cable (one with data as well as power not just a power one like the cable supplied). You then follow the instructions supplied.. I actually looked on YouTube about how to do the update and the watched the video whilst updating step by step. Once you do this it improves compatibility of the games, gives you stereo output and improves the ability to run cartridge roms from the micro sd card, including an improved directory layout. It also has the ability to emulate some other retro consoles although this is limited due to the power of the CPU used.It is expensive to purchase iit n the UK as it needs importing. However, I really love this system and the ease of use of it and have no regrets ordering it.The wireless joysticks also act as paddles which is really useful.. I did notice though that there is some lag when using these controllers so that's something to be aware of. I found it especially annoying on some of the paddle games but this could be my age. This can be fixed by using wired controllers but it is a bit fussy as to which it uses. There is a lot of information on various Atari forums on the Internet where u can find lots of information on updating, additional roms that cna be used and which game pads work well with this system.

Memories are made of this
A nice all in one games console, takes me back to gaming in the early to mid 80's.A great way to relieve the odd hour or two of boredom.

Really good machine
The main selling point of this machine is the SD card slot which you can use to sideload additional Atari 2600,5200 and 7800 roms not included on the machine. The machine itself is well built, stylish and controllers are really nice for the Atari stuff. You can also use Xbox controllers with this but wired and beneath the system you can also sideload Gameboy Advance, Megadrive, Nes and PC Engine games off an SD card. You can set up the folders on a PC when preparing the SD card.Really recommend this system and the emulation is top notch.

Lovely Atari retro console
Highly recommended, I'd leave a longer review but tbh you are better off heading to YouTube and watching some on there.
