Cured my high idle and my engine dying…
The original one was in its last leg, either causing a high idle at a cold start (1500 rpms) and/or a no start when cold and even sometimes it would cause the converter to lock up and die, thus stalling the engine. I knew there was a problem with one of the solenoids (no money light or hidden codes) when I found a high amperage draw (above 1.7 amps) on my PRNDL circuit. After tearing into the transmission I had to remove my TCC solenoid in order to remove this one. Two 10mm bolts. Make sure to lube the new O-ring with Transmission Goo or similar before installing. This solenoid has a check ball in it, similar in theory to a PCV valve in how it works. If one can shake it and hear it rattle, it more than likely is good. My old one was dead quite.

Great solenoid but dont make the same mistake i did
My transmission is a 4l60e on a 2001 suburban. I connected the solenoid which has 2 wires on it (red and black) but i also connected the extra wire with the loop to the bolt. But this made my solenoid stay actived which made my Torque Converter stay locked in always and it turn off the engine every time i shifted into D or R. So dont add the extra loop wire if your transmission doesn’t use it.

incorrect part sent.
The part in the picture looks right; but the part sent had to be modified to fit the 200 4R. I wiuld heve sent it back; but the trans was apart and I needed the car. Installed as it was sent wouldn't allow the pan to be installed. I think the part was made for a 700 r 4.

Great product
I think this is a great product however it didn't really solve our issues. At this point we were grasping at straws assuming that this part would prevent the vehicle from going into gear and not dying. It turns out that a small little hole next to the oxygen sensor was causing that.

TCC Solenoid
Used as a replacement part in a 4L60E transmission in a 99 GMC Yukon SLT 4WD...Vehicle was producing a soft bounce/bump like feeling while in overdrive, which was more noticeable going up a grade... after installing new part, vehicle was much smoother and responds better to the throttle...

The Item Description was misleading, and that was good!
The important thing here is that the picture is accurate as displayed although the product description said ONLY the solenoid is included. The included posi-locks were great as they made the job quicker as it isn't always easy to find them available from a brick and mortar store. This fixed my problem with the torque converter locking when coming to a stop and causing a stall. Three weeks later and the solenoid is still working fine.

Probably best to just replace the entire harness
I'm gonna rate it neutral. It worked for 2 days then the code came back. And the transmission started shifting hard again. The code is p2769. Tcc solenoid circuit or voltage low. Probably best to just replace the entire harness. I had to splice the harness with this. Had it been a long term fix it would've been great. But waste of money and time for me. Now have to do double the work and truck is out of service for 3 weeks now.
