Super easy to use, works perfectly. I used to use a timer taken from a uwave oven to automatically power off my soldering iron, but this is so much smaller and neater. Highly recommended!

I bought this to replace a mechanical spring-wound timer switch that had stopped ticking down so it wouldn’t turn off. This electronic timer was the perfect replacement.This timer switch is very attractive, with its white finish and blue LED indicator lights. The preset times are perfect for a bathroom vent fan - 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minutes. While browsing Amazon I had seen some that go up to two hours, and I really don’t see the point of running so long for a bathroom vent fan.This product was very nicely packaged in a high quality retail box, and included four wiring nuts for the four connection wires. Connecting the wires is easy if you know what you are doing. If you don’t, then please get help from an electrician or, at least, someone with the knowhow and comfort level. The timer settings are accurate.This is such a nice unit all round, and the icing on the cake: the price. Great value!Highly recommend!

Clear instructions and moderately easy to install for someone with basic electrical skills. It’s a no-brainer to use and I no longer find the bath fan running constantly.

The timer works great, was easy to install and it looks good but beware that the LEDs are bright, brighter than most nightlights. I even put white vinyl tape over the LEDs and it is still very bright. I used it for fan control, and both pictures here are with the fan off. I'm switching it out for a less lit timer.

Installation was simple. The warning to anyone who has not installed any sort of "smart" switch is that the "body" of any of these switches (the part hidden behind the plate) is generally much larger, including much deeper, than a simple rocker switch. This means that you must sometimes struggle a bit to fit all the wiring back into the box. But, in this respect this switch was the same as others of this class.Once installed, operation is very straightforward and simple. There is a lower "main" button, and above it six small buttons labeled for "on" durations ranging from 1 minute to 30 minutes. (In my case this is used for a bathroom fan, so this range of durations is perfect)So for example, to run the fan for 5 minutes, it is as simple as a quick press of the button labeled "5 min".The blue light next to the button with be lit, and just a bit before the timer expires, the light will begin to flash, and then the fan will go off, and the light goes back to solid blue.The next time you use the switch, two buttons will be lit- the one for five minutes, and the light on the main button. Pressing either button will begin 5 minutes of "on" time. Again, the button for "5 min" will start to flash when time is almost up.However, if you want any of the other times, it is as simple as pushing that other button, and the switch will be on for that indicated time. Easy!Altering time while the fan is already running: Just push another of the small time buttons, and that new time will take over. Or, if you want to stop the fan, just press the large "main" button and the timer will turn off. Easy!To just turn the switch "on" without any specified time run, just press and hold the main button a couple of seconds, and the fan will be "on" until you press the large button again to turn it off.I am 100% satisfied with this switch!

I used this a a timer for a domestic hot water recirculating pump. I only use the 1 minute button but the others work well also. Has a lit led on the time button that you select. Has lit led on the operating button that is always lit unless the timer is being used. Very bright in the dark.

This is the second one of these that has failed in less than 3 years. So I wouldn't call them junk but they are certainly not high quality. Also, the bright blue LEDs are not something I would want in my bedroom where I could see it.

Purchased for bathroom renovation before selling -- so not sure of longevity.Easy to install and worked out of the box with the Panasonic bathroom fan.Easy to operate, and nice night light feature due to the one LED.Very good price for well constructed product.Looking to update our new bathrooms so may be ordering again soon.

I used this timer to give me a minute to get in bed after I switch the bedroom light off. Pressing one of the selector buttons does not activate the timer, it just selects the length of the timing cycle, unlike another timer I have used for a bathroom fan. The large button at the bottom turns on the timer or ends the timing cycle. Once you understand how the timer works, it does the job very well. Be aware that the LEDs are too bright for a bedroom. I put layers of tape over them to reduce the brightness, but even with tape over the LEDs, there is enough light so you don't have to fumble to find the switch in the dark. Also, the timer uses a relay, which you can hear release from across a room. As the description states, a neutral is required to operate the electronics in the timer, so you might not be able to use it depending on how your switch is wired.

Exactly as expected. Important to follow installation instruction. Neutral with neutral and the Hot with the Hot segment. Can not invert with the load. Very satisfied for the price I paid. But the price increased a lot AFTER my order. Would not order again at that price.
