Overall comfort is pretty good, a little softer than you would expect for a "medium" firmness mattress. Once you get settled in is comfortable.Not too hot, not too cool with good overall support.The largest negative with regards to this mattress is the quality control. First mattress ordered unrolled but only expanded to ~80% after 5 days (without use). There is a slope left to right. Processed a return/replacement and the bed expanded properly.

I have been really impressed with this mattress so far. My back no longer hurts from sleeping on too soft or too firm of a mattress. I think it’s the perfect combination of soft and firm. It was really easy to undo and set up.

I bought two of these (have bought ghost mattresses in the past and loved them). Neither of the twins fully expanded on one side so they are about 9" on one long side and 5" on the other. I have tried emailing and calling the numbers and contacts given on the amazon site - the phone number person says they can't help me because I purchased on Amazon so use the email support - email support has NEVER responded. Maybe this review will get someone's attention.

I've given this mattress almost a month of testing, and I'm still not impressed.The setup is easy and the mattress is lightweight, which is why I went with a mail-order foam mattress, but I don't see anything that would make this a better choice over any other foam mattress on Amazon that is usually $200 cheaper. You can see from my review that I got this mattress for free to review, but I would be upset if I had spent the actual $300+ price.I'm not taking stars off for the build quality, but you can see from my photos that the details on the entire top cover are sewn very messily, which made a pretty poor first impression.The smell was not overwhelming, as I am used to foam mattresses, but it did take three weeks for the smell to subside, even with me leaving the mattress uncovered and on its side occasionally with a fan circulating air around it. Again, not really an issue, but I only mention it because the included instructions mention twice that the smell will dissipate within a "few days" or even within "24 hours" on the second instruction sheet. Instead, I was sleeping with a fan circulating air and washing the chemical smell out of the fitted sheets I put over it.I'm no professional bed reviewer, but it surprised me how uncomfortable this mattress is for my lower back. I do not have back problems, but I began to dread the nights when I would test this mattress "plain", without a mattress topper, because I would feel worn out after waking up, and would shift around at night because it was uncomfortable. With a 4" mattress topper, it is a comfortable night's sleep, but at that point this mattress might as well just be a box spring.On the positive, it *is* so stiff that you can sit on the edge easily. And it doesn't hold body heat like some memory foams.Everyone is different, so I'm not going too crazy about it, but I'd only suggest this to someone who has experienced hard mattresses and that is what they are specifically looking for. Especially since "medium-firm feel" seems to be the only firmness offered by GhostBed.Overall, three stars because it's really a 50/50 with me. It's ok as a basic mattress, but needed extra padding to be usable for me (something GhostBed even admits may be necessary in their instructions).

I don't even know where to start with this mattress. I ordered it for my Son's room to replace his old mattress. I have seen this brand advertised on social media and really wanted to try it but to throw out my old mattress and take a chance on a mail order mattress seems just a bridge too far for me. But my Son is grown and the only time we use the room is when the Grandkids come to visit so I thought this was the prefect time to try a mail order mattress out. My goodness I don't really know why I waited so long to try this bed. It came quickly and besides being a little heavy to lift on my own was extremely easy to set up. It came tightly rolled and the smell was not overpowering when we rolled it out. The picture I included is just after we rolled it out. It expanded nicely after I let it stand for a couple days before making the bed. It expanded to the full 10 inches and it really is just a regular mattress. I was so worried that it would not meet my standards because it came in the mail. I was so wrong. Everything about the experience was easy. The mattress is great not too firm and not too soft. 5+ Stars on this one. I am only sad I waited so long to try this. I think I will be getting one for my own bed instead of a spare room now.
