Is this 100% copper wire

I change one of the connections and it was copper wire.

Will this handle the old classic Lincoln buzz box?

Yes-the ends fit. I use these because they're cheap long cords for a little DC box that works 115a/250 for stuff around the house/yard but max out my welding max 110 dc amps for small jobs. These cords are only 10 gauge-I have a the fatter 6 gauge cords for the high amp jobs-the 6 gauge cords are twice as heavy and expensive.

How long can I run a machine on this? Looking to use it to connect to my pool heater (wont get wet) but ill need it to run for 30hrs

It's a good, well-made cord. You should compare cord AMP rating to your pool heater AMP rating to see if it is big enough.

is 10AWG really rated for 50A??

No. You should be using 6AWG minimum for 50A

Great high quality cord

Had this for sometime now use it for my welder got the 100ft and it’s a very nice high quality cord I will say it’s not the most flexible cord making it hard to roll up but it functions well

Excellent!

For the money, this cord is awesome. The build quality seems good enough for the home shop. The ends look pretty well made and the plug is nice and tight. Beware that this cord is 10 gauge and will only safely support 30a, even though the plugs on the ends are technically rated for 50a. However, if you have an inverter welder, your machine will likely stay within that 30a range. This cord powered my Lincoln Electric inverter welder running 130a stick no problem for hours on end. The cord didn’t even get warm. Just check the specs of your machine and ensure it will not use any more than 30a, and you’re good to go!
