Metal Hanging Bird Feeder Tray to Attracting Bird for Outdoor Garden Decorative

This bird feeder isn't the quality I thought it would be. It tips really bad on the side where the metal bird is. It's not sturdy and the birds won't feed from it, because it tips so badly they have a difficult time getting seed from it. The quality is very poor , because of the design. If somehow it was weighted in the center to stop it from tipping, it might work. For almost twenty dollars it is very disappointing.

Thin metal construction, more like metal from a tin can than the more sturdy metal items I've had in the past. The chain appears weak and the hooks which attach it to the feeder are thin.We have squirrels and many types of birds which use our feeders. Bought this to replace a decorative resin feeder that was used more than four years and left out year-round. My initial impression is that this will not last, but as mentioned, I'll update after a month. If I'd seen it in a shop, I'd not paid almost $20 for it.Edit: Eight months later it has not broke so I'm adding a star. My initial thoughts about this is that it is flimsy and won't last. While I have not seen any squirrels visit the feeder, many birds feed daily (blue jays, cardinals, wrens, finches, etc.). We have had some strong storms since I placed the feeder and it drains very well. I was thinking its somewhat tilted position was a flaw, but I realize now it tilts to allow water to drain out the small hole. Overall, I am pleased with the feeder. Still holding off on another star to see how it holds up.

I absolutely love it. It’s a great size and it’s sturdy. I like the little bird on it because I think it draws in more real birds. I always see them coming to the feeder. There r up to six birds at a time, either on the feeder or below it where seeds had dropped. Great buy. It doesn’t rain here much though so I can’t speak on water resistance.

My birds all love this feeder. It is sturdy, good looking, and drains well except in the heaviest rain storms.

Well made, sturdy and tiny holes in surface allow rain to go through. Very good price. Nice touch with tiny metal bird perched on one side. Squirrels broke my glass seed dish similar to this one,by jumping on it and knocking it to the ground. No problems with this one- this is metal!

Birdfeeder is very decorative and holds a good amount of seed however the decorative metal bird on the rim causes the feeder to hang unevenly. As a result the birds loose balance spilling seed in large quanties. It would probably be better used as a birdbath?

We live in the mountains with lot of HEAVY winds. If I forget to take this down before a storm it survives being blown away. Very cute and birds love getting the seed from it.

Although it shows up lighter in pics it is a bronze color the chains did not line up quite right the base seemed uneven . My husband took one link out and it was level I do love it but not sure it’s worth $22
