Unfortunately, this would not be suitable for a 4" wide I-Beam. The max width that would work for this trolley would be a 2.5" flange width. In the description, the 4" I-Beam that is mentioned refers to 4" in height, not flange width.

Q: Is the I-beam available with gently curving sections that would accommodate the trolley making directional changes? If so what is the curve radius?

Curves are available in 90 degree or 180 degree styles for 3" and 4" I-beams. Typical radius is 36". All I-beam curves are custom made-to-order, so you would need to contact Ultimation directly for these.
