This product really works to get rid of crabgrass.

I picked up this Mesotrione 4SC Bundle to take care of my son’s yard while he was away on a long business trip. His yard was being overrun by some tough-to-kill weeds that, from experience, I know most weed killers won’t touch, but a couple of rounds of Tenacity usually will. Thankfully, this bundle worked as expected, and by the time he came back a few weeks later, those stubborn weeds were dead.The bundle is a solid value, especially since you get the sprayer, the Mesotrione, and a pair of gloves for just a bit more than what you'd pay for a single 8 oz bottle of Tenacity alone. The gloves and sprayer aren’t top-notch, but they’re fine for occasional use.One thing to note: the mixing instructions are a bit unclear and getting the ratio right is really important. Sure, you can look up the proper ratio for 1 gallon of Mesotrione online or do the math yourself, but since Petra Store provides both the chemical and the sprayer, they should've included a simple mixing and usage guide in the package.All in all, it’s a good value. Just know it’s sort of a starter kit, and be sure to pickup some surfactant!

Great kit, it comes with everything you need to kill those pesky weeds that come up out of nowhere, hopefully this chemical will take care of them, it comes with the sprayer, the chemical and gloves for protection a real complete kit

Recently purchased this for my fall reseed. Applied as usual how would tenacity. Two things I noticed.1. There was very little whiting and not many weeds were effected by this2. My seed germination was waaaaayyyy below normal. A lot of the seeds that did germinate grew in white. Grass type tall fescue.I’m not really happy with the results. I’ll have to seed again in the spring.

I like being able to get rid of weeds for more than a week or two. This is easy to apply and works quickly and thoroughly. I am not using it in the vegetable garden area because it seems to have a lot of residual effects. I used to use Round-up but now that is not so available in my area so this is a nice replacement. I love my garden and weeds are my enemy.

This tank, gloves, and Mesotrione make an excellent lawn care kit.The tank works as expected, includes multiple tips, and has a pressure release valve - a huge safety feature.As far as the weed killer included, I would say it works given time. It took almost 14 days to see any whitening of weeds. Some of the larger crab grass clumps weathered through the application, so I will certainly be applying again.I’m interested to see how well this does as a pre-emergent, to prevent future crab grass along with killing present weeds.Overall very happy with the bundle, would buy again.

The Mesotrione Weed Killer Bundle comes with a 1 gallon sprayer with 2 sprayer heads (stream and fan), 8 oz of Mesotrione and a pair of gloves. This sprayer is replacing another that broke. This sprayer doesn't put out as much product as my old sprayer but works fine otherwise.The instructions are a bit confusing but I add 1/2 tsp Mesotrione to 1 gal of water which covers 1,000 sq ft. It works well to quickly kill many weeds and once my Bermuda grass goes dormant, I can use it to kill the weeds in my grass. I always add a surfactant for better coverage and penetration of the herbicide, along with a dye so that I can see where I've sprayed.

I have a big 4 gallon backpack sprayer and a small hand held one. This is a nice in between size that is comfortable carrying around the yard. I've been using it to kill dandelion type weeds, but now that the summer heat has broken, I will use the new to me herbicide that came with this and try to kill the creeping crabgrass and wire grass. I should know in a few weeks. The extra sprayer tips adds some flexibility too. Remember to rinse water through the spray mechanism when you finish. If you don't you will likely ruin it in short time. The pressure relief valve is handy too.
