They are worth it.
Okay, so replacing the old ones with these can be a long and hard process (first-time soldering with minimal tools). The quality feels nice and premium, with the interchangeable thumbsticks being a bonus. They sit nicely and tightly and won't come loose easily. They work perfectly out of the box and required only quick calibration. For the money, I would say they are definitely worth it! It takes some time and patience to replace them.Pros:* Work straight away after assembly.* I've noticed a small improvement in the controller's battery life.* Nice and premium feel, even after installation.Cons:* Takes time and patience to replace the old ones with the new ones. (Not really a con, but I was stuck for four to five hours and didn't have all the tools.)* The thumbsticks might become loose after changing them a few times.Do I recommend them? Yes, absolutely!

Perfect.
Used older Hall Effect Sticks in the past which are great, thought id give these TMR sticks and try and boy am I glad I did, they are far superior than Hall Effect sticks, much smoother, more responsive and much more accurate! Will happily spend the extra again if I needed these.

These are the ones.....
These are the ones you need. 15min job with the right tools, 2% circularity is better than originals, they even feel better and more precise than originals. And 10x better than the other two types of hall sensor I tried. I've used for 20hours since and they are working really well These are the ones, and I personally recommend them if your doing this upgrade or repair, I don't think you will be disappointed. If I bought a new controller today I'd take it straight apart and fit these lol.

Expensive mistake
Broke after two days of use. Installed by professionals. As seen on photo, the stick gets stuck and fails to spring back. I then bought a cheap one from different seller and seems to work as it should. Seller also assured me with a year's guarantee.

Way better than Alps 3D Analogue installed as standard by Microsoft & Sony.
These are good Joysticks compared to the Alps 3D Analogue unit installed as standard by Microsoft & Sony.I noted that on the Amazon platform, there have been numerous returns of the GuliKit TMRS, and I'm unsure why.I have fitted many of these, and I mean many, and all have worked flawlessly. So, are people expecting to install these and have them work centred? If so, this assumption is wrong. All joysticks must be calibrated, whether they're (Thin Film, Hall Effect or TMRS).They must be calibrated to the controller. If you do not, your centre point on the crosshair will be offset. So, always calibrated after the installation...Please note that desoldering is the hardest part of the work, take your time...

works perfectly on dualshock 4
these work really well, follow the ifixit guide with the calibration software link. worked perfectly for me. these sticks feel really nice and smooth, the included thumbsticks are good quality and the extra rubber thumbstick caps feel nice too.Desoldering the old stick is a little tricky without the proper tools as the board wicks away a lot of heat so you're going to want to get the stick area evenly heated. A hot air station would be ideal so you can take the whole stick out at once or you can use low melt solder but if you only have a soldering iron and normal leaded solder like me (don't use lead free as high melting point) then heating each of the joints around the stick a few times should get it sufficiently hot to be workable. I unclipped the pots from the housings and wiggled them until the legs snapped then cut the mounting points for the old stick and l3/R3 buttons, it's a lot easier to get the legs out of the board individually with a solder pump than trying to get the whole stick out with a soldering iron

Works well but longevity is questionable
Installed the sticks to my controller and all worked fine, after a few weeks one of them developed some issues but the seller sent me a new pair after some back and forth. The included KK thumbsticks rubbed against the shell so I chose to use the old factory thumbsticks instead. Some soldering skills needed, if you know what you're doing then it's quite simple.

Relatively easy to fit and calibrate if you have the right equipment
These are great thumbsticks! If you are going to buy and fit these, use a hot air station to remove the old ones and it's literally a 10 minute job to swap them over. It can be done with a soldering iron, but through hole components aren't really designed to be removed that way. Once install, they're easy to calibrate. One other note, if you get any rubbing inside the dualsense once these are fitted, just use a hobby knife to cut about 1-2mm of the side of the thumbstick down a bit. The way the thumb caps sit on the thumbsticks is a little raised edge which can sometimes be a hair too high and cause it to rub against the onside of the controller
