This highly detailed, life size brain model can be divided into 9 parts to show the temporal and occipital lobes, the frontal and parietal lobes, the cerebellum, the brain stem and basilar artery. All structures, including blood vessels, are shown in great detail. It is a great tool for teaching and learning of human nerve system and brain anatomy. He is fascinated with the brain and absolutely loved it.
Bought this model as a birthday present for my son. It is well worth the price. Very high end type of model. He is fascinated with the brain and absolutely loved it.

Expensive and Falls Apart Easily but Does a Great Job of Modeling the Features of the Brain
Great model. I deducted a star because it comes apart too easily. I would have expected stronger magnets in such an expensive model. I can hardly pick it up off the stand without it falling apart. On the plus side, the model does a great job of depicting most features. I wasn't able to find the central sulcus (I am only an amateur in a college anatomy class, but earned an A on my neuro test with great appreciation to this model). If you can afford it, I think it is worth the money.

Fair model. Missing number key and detail is lacking for the cost.
It is a good looking model. The limbic system is not represented with much detail. The number key wa not included.

Decent CNS model
This is yet another anatomical model I have bought through my studies. This model is good for the basic structures, sulci, gyri, lobes, etc. However, DO NOT count on this model for brain stem study. Otherwise a good model but pricey.

The product interest in my neurological study turned out to be a bit disappointing to get a spatial image of the brain compared to the usage of an online app such as Sylvius (particularly to get familiar with the ventricles system and the details of the diencephalon / mesencephalon). You basically will just have an overview of the lateral brain (with some lack of details on some gyri) and the mid sagittal cut.

Pretty good, but some brain structures not identified/highlighted
Pretty good, but some brain structures not identified/highlighted. Sulci are in the right places. The slices for separation are arbitrary and interrupt the overall structure. But otherwise a pretty nice model.
