I have absolutely no idea how to weld, but this is so easy to use. Really glad I purchased it.

Seems a good item however does not include any rods or hammer as shown in pictures

I purchased the Saker Portable Electric Welding Machine as I work on improving my DIY skills. This portable welding machine from Saker is just what I was looking for as I try to develop my DIY skills (with a day course in MMA welding booked for next month). The weight of the welder is manageable - in size and weight it’s similar to my mains-powered SDS drill.The machine will accept welding rods from 2.5-3.2mm wire (not supplied) and has five output settings from 20 to 120A. The welder is provided with a hard shell carry case, together with a rather basic and flimsy self-assembly welding mask - I’ll be investing in a better mask which will free both hands for the welding machine before I engage in any bigger tasks.On offer at time of review for under £120, this seems terrific value for the DIY home welder.

This is really handy for smaller diy jobs. It's lightweight but works well. Takes a little bit of getting used to but the instructions are fairly clear.
