Completely solved a tuning issue
This works really well. It solved a tuning issue I was getting with the old metal string retainer. Brilliant product.

Simple solution to aid tuning stability
Perfect replacement to regular bent steel string trees on Strats and Teles. You can spend a lot of money on tuner upgrades and new nuts but on regular string trees don’t have a friction free priorities and these do. If you use the trem system on the Strat a lot then these are worth the investment. A great product but not essential if you have a tight budget for any guitar upgrades

Great quality from the nut kings
Graphtech Tusq Xl Sleek String TreeBought as i usually upgrade from the original metal string tree's. My guitar already had a Graphtech nut so this just added to the stability.Easy to fit, anyone can do without an issue and even in some case's there was no need to use the screw as the original screw fitted well so it was a simple case of just removing the metal tree with the self lubricated one not the most prettiest thing you could do however, does the trick stops the string binding and increase the tuning stability.

Good
Bought to replace standard fender one as strings were sticking. No problem with these at all. Much better to look at as well

Worked well on my Telecaster
Worked well on my Telcaster. I used the old screw as these are a bit fatter.

Just buy it!
For anyone playing a fender strat / tell, it's simple: this little upgrade - combined with the springs for the tremolo arm, is the cheapest but most worthwhile update you can do. Frankly, if you've spent £500-2000 on the guitar, it would be silly not to....

Contary to other views...
Contrary to other reviews I found that this item impeded tuning and indeed created friction with the strings becoming more "stuck". As soon as they were removed and more traditional roller trees installed , all tuning issues disappeared on my Strat. So, in summary, the guitar would not stay in tune with these installed. I believe the magic non stick material may not be as effective as alleged. They look nice though. Three stars for that :)

They work!
I don’t think that they are the most attractive thing. They work very well, but they don’t work any better than roller trees that cost half the price.
