WOrks well for chocolate bars
This was my first time using this in baking, so I am not the best option for a comparison review. But from what I have studied before getting this, it is on a good quality scale and a medium level of freshness. It's fairly easy to use, and there are a ton of recipe options.I had no issues using this; it works great with chocolate.4 Stars

Tasted good
This was good in the dish I used it in (something with cheese and a sugar syrup). It was fresh tasting and didn’t have any big clumpy pieces. Worked well.

leaking dried kataifi
Dried Kataifi speeds up your confectionery production vs making own shredded fillo dough. Seems like all the producers of this product like to use the crunchy plastic container. This bag arrived compromised and there is a leak of chopped dried kataifi. Not enough to tarnish but enough to make a mess similar to a bag of flour. Be careful where you open your package. Overall the product taste good when cooked in butter.

Great ingredient
After seeing the dubai chocolate everywhere online and advertised in stores we wanted to try the craze for ourselves and this was a great way to do it on a budget! We made at home bars and even went for pudding cups both of which got a great satisfying crunch from this! Great quality, plentiful quantity to try various recipes and usages. Conveniently shipped right to your door so you don't have to go hunting around town!

Great for Dubai truffles!
As I didn't have a chocolate mold, I tested this kataifi in truffle form, much in the same way you make the American buckeye candy. Kataifi is perfectly crispy and crunchy on its own, but I prefer them toasted over medium heat with a little butter just until they start to turn golden brown. You can use them in the signature Dubai chocolate or as a nest of sorts for a gourmet look when plating your desserts. This recipe below yields 20-24 truffles.Toast 1 1/2 cup kataifi (shredded phyllo dough) over medium heat in 2 tablespoons of butter for a few minutes until it turns golden brown.Once cooked, transfer to a bowl and mix with 1/2 cup chilled pistachio cream and a tablespoon of chilled tahini/sesame spread. On parchment paper, use a scoop to make small balls around 2/3 tablespoon in size. Leave the balls in your fridge or freezer until hard enough to use a toothpick to dip them in warm, melted chocolate. I used a blend of chocolate bark and hazelnut chocolate I had on hand, but use whatever. I dipped them twice to give them a thicker shell, as the inside is really creamy and gloopy -- at least compared to buckeyes which have a firmer filling.Sprinkle with crushed pistachios, and voila! These were absolutely devoured at our family Christmas party, and requests for me to share the recipe were made! Five stars.
