Is this stereo or mono through the headphone jack?

I think is mono sounds good on bluetooth in NYC the radio is not clear it's actually not good. I wouldn't buy it

My radio takes 4 AA batteries or plug it in with the power cord.

Does this radio come with an AC cord?

yes it does or you can use two c cell batteries. very compact for use during storms.

How long does it work on battery?

We purchased the radio to sit on our front porch and listen to music. We have not yet tried putting batteries in it nor have we tested the bluetooth.
