As a professional installer, I often work with coaxial cables and need to install and remove F connectors frequently. These is great for connecting & disconnecting the cable TV on the RV. It is tight quarters connecting up to the RV and this tool makes it quicker and easier!NOTE: If your cable has an additional thicker Insulation at the ends, you will need to remove them or the tool will not fit over

Where has this been all my life? Bought it for the RV. Some of the cable connections at campgrounds can be hard to get to. This tool spins the coax on and off no issues! Buy it!

This tool really speeds up disconnection and connection of coaxial cables. Double or triple your productivity easily!

Very useful for tightening RG6 & old F59 coax connectors. Think of it as a specialized nut driver. Good quality plastic "handle" and brush metal collar which wraps around the coax cable connector.Overall, works well, but note the following:(1) The diameter of the plastic handle may get in the way if there are other coax cables side-by-side.(2) Depending on your access, you will likely have to start tightening using your fingers, and once it is threading properly, finish it with this tool, and it will give it a nice tight connection.(3) You have to be careful not to over-tighten and I think you may put stress on the female connector and can disconnect it from the main board.(4) It is best for uninstalling coax (or finishing an installation), but learn from my mistake - - it may seem silly, but you can cause damage by over-tightening - - I had a flatscreen mounted on a wall, and needed to dismount it, but also wanted to disconnect the set top box from the TV. Standing in front of the TV, having awkward access to the connector on the back, and using a hex wrench, I turned in the wrong direction and was tightening it rather than loosing, and ended up electrically disconnecting the female connector from the circuit board - a $225 repair bill and a 10-day wait (the TV was worth $1,200 back then). (I've since use pressure connector/adapters if the connection has difficult access).You are dealing with sensitive electronic equipment so don't misuse the tool.
