why has no 0.5m length cable?

Sorry, we do not make 0.5m (1.5ft) 22AWG patch cable. However, you are encouraged to make the 0.5 meter patch cord from the 1m one. Simply purchase the 1 meter patch cord, cut it in half, dis-assemble one of the plugs and re-terminate it to make a 0.5 meter cable. All plugs are reusable for over 50 times. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please, what is the most relevant technical and performance difference between the two types of cat-8 cables besides its gauges 26awg and 22awg?

Both are tested to run at 25G under Fluke DSX-8000 network analyzer. There is no difference in Cat8. However, if your system requires very small resistance between the ground wire and plug, the 22AWG version will be the only choice.

Is it weatherproof, waterproof outdoor ready ?

No. These Cat8 cables are not waterproof, nor CMX outdoor rated. Please use it for indoor and from switch to PC purpose.

Hi, When will these cables available with the updated GG45 connector?

The GG45 connectors are for CAT8.2 and above. These cables are CAT8.1.
