Attach the clip and rotate the screw to tighten it on your phone. Make sure the lens is centered over the camera on your phone. 2. Hold the clip and screw the 12X telephone lens onto the clip. 3. Perfect gadget for hiking!
This is a very strong built lense its made out of metal and the clip it made of sturdy plastic, so you shouldn't worry about this breaking in you! I took 2 pictures. One with the lens and one without the lens. You can see the difference between which one looks closer and the quality of the picture. With the lens you can get decent sharp pictures with it. However you're not going to be able to get the entire picture to focus just a good portion of it around the edges you start to see some sort of blurred out effect. Now if you do some editing on your pictures I can assure you that you can use this effect from the lens work with you by simply making it seem that you went for that effect as other profesional photographers use. The one app I highly recommend for picture editing is "Snapseed" by Google. The lens itself have two twist parts one for how close the lens get to the phone's lens and one to adjust the focus. Remember that of you have some black shadow showing I'm the camera, zoom in on your phones camera about 0.5 and the shadow should disappear without affecting the resolution. If you go hiking then this is a must inside your backpack!

Fit iPhone and good zoom in
the lens is really cool. It can zoom in 12x as it mentioned. It is really good for concerts. I brought it to a concert and got several good pictures by using it. It totally solve the non-zoomable phone camera problem. It fits for my iPhone 6 perfectly.

prefect for kids
I bought this product originally for myself to take pictures and watch concerts. However, I found it better to to used as telescope instead of phone accessory camera. I used it when I went hiking. My son loves it because the size is perfect for kids to use. Easy to hold.

Great Lens
I like this telephoto lens for the iPhone. Overall it works really well. I am using it on the iPhone XS Max. My only complaint is that it is a little difficult to line up the telephoto lens with the actually camera lens since the XS Max has two cameras. It’s not a product defect, it just comes with the territory of having two cameras on the phone. Overall I’m very pleased with it. I’ll try to post a couple photos.

Nice lens
Giving this to my daughter for a gift. I snuck it out of the box to look. Looks like it’ll fit well on phone. Nice zoom. Can’t wait to see what she does with it!

Not worth purchasing.
Halo around image. Very fuzzy at higher zoom. Unable to get a clear picture when zoomed.
