Healthy and delicious
This was my second order. The bare root plants arrived healthy and are growing well. This is the most tender, delicious asparagus. I don't even cook it. I enjoy it raw, freshly cut from the garden. Remember, it takes several years from planting until your first harvest. I definitely recommend!

Good product!
Followed the instructions included (this was great that they put this in). I didn't realize though that you have to put the roots in within 7 days upon receipt so keep that in mind. I put them in my garden and they're now growing! So far I have 5 popping up and I planted them about 2 weeks ago.

As described; shipped as stated
So far 3 of the four plants have begun to sprout small, thin asparagus stalks. No activity from the other 2 I received. However, I know shipping can stress plants so it is possible they are fine and are just taking their time. It's nor been quite a month since planting. Considering I bought 8 locally that never grew at all, this is a great growing rate! Thus, far I am satisfied with this seller. I will update if the others decide to wake up.Update 8/16:Not the fault of the seller. Only three plants sprouted and the others remain dormant (or dead) under the soil. The ones that grew are barely a foot tall and scraggly/sickly. It was a very, very rough season. (1) War with the Voldemort of chipmunks (2) It was terribly wet and soggy, not a lot of good sun, and then when it was sunny and dry it was terribly HOT. My entire little garden was struggling. We will see how things go after overwintering and spring.

Not purple, but regular green color
Mary Washington Roots were delivered very weak, almost dead. It took them 3 month to show up just three from all five and all green. The year passed, they came out in spring all 3 green, no any purple color.

A gift.
