Keep this outside back door for the ash out of my log stove being galvanised it shouldn’t rust does the job

It is fine as a big zinc bucket - we're using it as a planter, but it is a shame that there is a big label on it that is unremovable without industrial thinners, which will likely effect the finish of the galv.

If you're like me and want to remove the label then be prepared it won't take 2 seconds as it would if they stepped into the 21st Century and used easy-peel labels but no they use labels with a glue that could hold a man to a ceiling. First, you have to run it under the hot tap after you try to remove the plastic covering then rub it with a bit of Scotchbrite then over to surgical spirit or meths to dissolve the glue. All in all, it took me about 15 minutes, all for a bucket that most likely won't last very long.

These are not what’s described in the advertisement so be careful when ordering as more lightweight than heavy duty probably a decent product for lightweight purposes
