Definitely at least 3:1, probably more.
I used this to stabilize the old brittle cloth and rubber insulation in the electrical boxes in my home. The piece of mind is incalculable. It's super easy to use, feels at least as thick/durable as factory wire insulation and it shrinks MORE than 3:1 in diameter without loosing ANY length at the low setting of my heat gun.To address 3 complaints I saw in negative reviews; It does shrink MORE than 3:1. Remeber it contains an interior adhesive layer AND when you shrink the plastic, it doesnt magically dissapear, it collapses on itself, getting thicker... so while the OD (outside diameter) may not appear to do so in one posted image, the ID (inside diameter) which is what matters, shrinks more than 3:1. The 1/4" will shrink tight over a single bare 12 guage wire. The other complaint I noticed was about the case. The case I got is very good quality, of flexible durable and clear plastic with hinged plastic locks (not just fold tabs, I hate fold tab locks) and a hang tab for store display that works great on peg boards. I'm a freak about tool room storage. I dont have a single jar of screws.. everything is separated labeled, i probably spend as much on storage solutions as I do on tools. I'm not even the least bit tempted to replace it. The only issue is that it comes with 8 sizes of sleeve in a container that has 4 compartments, but that's really nitpicking. The last reason I saw for negative reviews was they are too long. This is never a bad thing. It's easy to trim with a scissor to any size you need. Too short and you're out of luck..Too long? Not a problem. Cut what you need and save the rest of the next time.

A handy set of heat shrink tubes
I'm a radio broadcast engineer and find myself making cables for various equipment as parts are either no longer manufactured or are just difficult to get due to the idiotic supply chain issues. So I bought some cable here on Amazon, bought the end cable lugs, again here on Amazon, and also got this set of shrink tubing to dress up the cable ends. It's a nice set with a great variety of sizes. The plastic carry cause is good enough quality where it does not come apart after a couple of uses. I've uses different sizes for various projects so far and the tubing shrinks up evenly when heat is applied. I've done 3 transmitter repairs and did a home cabling project and so far so good. It's a good value set.

Great for waterproof and stress proof connection covering
Purchased to replace a setup that was lost at a customer's garage and on my latest job it's worked out well for an engine swap and some needed add ons for the swap. The used harness was from the engine needed a ton of splices and the heat shrink has been quicker to use than the previous items used and gives good adhesion to the wires making connections going forward the option of crimping instead of soldering. I've always used clear heat shrink to be able to check connections without having to use a test light on all wires making race prep or diagnosis much quicker. We actually cut a 14 gauge wire and only used the heat shrink to join the cut pieces together to test the pull strength and I picked up and hung a group 34/78 Optima red top with the wire and it's still hanging without even any stretch on the heat shrink tubing so I'm satisfied that the connections will stay together even if incredible loads are put on them! The 1 issue is the storage box latches, even though I only opened the box to check out the product and place identification stickers on it the latches aren't the greatest and we've had to put everything back in the box a few times from only falling a foot or 2 it needs to be better. Aside from what we put the box through it's a definite good purchase I will again a few times over after using it.

Good stuff
If u buy a Mark Domain E1000 label maker u will need this to keep the labels on the wires . The adhesive is a joke.

So far so good
I'm happy with this shrink tubing so far. It does seem to have a 3:1 shrink ratio. And it does have heat-activated adhesive because you can see a little bit ooze out the ends when you shrink the tubing with heat. I needed gasoline-resistant heat shrink tubing, although they do no claim such in the listing. Another reviewer said they used it in a fuel tank application, so I figured I'd give it a try. I have a piece soaking in gasoline and it seems to be holding up OK after a couple of weeks.

Clear heat shrink
I have been working on wiring systems on multiple vehicles. Just use your crimping tool and place the clear heat shrink over and use your heat gun. Very simple to use.

Not appropriate for my use case, eg hobby soldering
I used the smallest shrink wrap in this pack for some slot car soldering. I pointed the heat gun at it and it shrunk by maybe 20%, eg not enough to insulate my wire in a manner I deem satisfactory for this kind of project. I cannot say anything for other use cases, but I do not recommend this product for hobby use. Now, this is listed as a waterproofing wrap, and I did notice a resin-like substance ooze out of both ends of the wrap when applying the heat gun. If whatever this is actually waterproofing material I would guess that it works as advertised? It did make the wire a little stiff, as mentioned in other reviews.
