PACARIEcuadorian Organic Chocolate Raw 85%, 50 Gram, 1.76 Ounce

I regularly eat 90% chocolate and love it but I've been reading about Dutch process and flavonoids etc and got interested in less processed chocolate, hence this purchase. I was ready for bitter but this stuff is absolutely inedible, tastes like vinegar and tin foil and baking soda and...other unmentionable things. The chocolate is in date, no discoloration or melting...I'm at a loss. I will try to build a taste for it *shudder* and report back if it becomes even slightly more tolerable. I can say it must be very healthy to taste so horrible.Edit: I've tried for weeks, a bite or 2 every day. No dice. I can develop no palate for this chocolate. Tastes like vinegar.

I purchased these chocolate bars at my daughter's request for my two grandchildren. She likes the fact that they are very low in sugar, organic, and 85% cacao. My grand-daughters like the taste, and this is the only chocolate that she orders for them.

The chocolate arrived melted and reformed into a cracked crumbly lump with white spots.The taste seemed alright, but I would hesitate to order this product again because of the condition it arrived in.

Purchased 5 PACARI RAW Chocolate bars and was frustrated with the loo to expire dates. I would prefer a more recent production date, no one that is over 18 months old.Purchase date: May 2017Expiration date: October 2017Manufacture date: October 2015

I like Ecuadorian chocolate, but this one was a bit too dry for my taste though still good.Price was outrages though. For me, the Lindt's Ecuador Excellence series is the best representation of the chocolate coming from this region of the world

Very small chocolate bar for the price. Dark chocolate had slightly off flavor notes of tobacco and an undetermined woodsy spice.
