Seems to be doing the job.

I bought this (in conjunction with other vitamins and minerals) because I suffer with edema in my legs. Having looked into what can help fluid retention, this was recommended. I chose this one in particular because it has both root and leaf extract. It’s hard to say if it really is working but I do seem to be going to the loo more often! I have a bit of a complicated medical history, I can’t walk far but recently shielding means I’m not even moving as much as normal. I also had surgery on my right leg about 9mths ago, which left my leg extremely swollen, since taking this product it has improved. I can’t say for definite that it’s down to the humble dandelion tho.

I was taking 7 supplements daily for my Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Healing a fatty liver is very slow going, I had an issue with paracetamol and lansoprazole, cutting out the former completely and changing the latter to omeprazole helped a lot but my levels were still way too high and refusing to budge anymore. NAFLD isn't treated on the NHS, they only monitor it with regular blood tests and scans when necessary. I got a book from Amazon at the end of 2017 about how to heal a fatty liver and have been taking these 7 supplements since the beginning of 2018 every day ever since then. I don't actually feel any better but my bloodwork has improved massively since taking them and my doctor has told me that it is working so to carry on doing what I'm doing.At the beginning of May 2020, I read a report that trials were about to start using a new supplement that contains 5 ingredients, 2 of which I am already taking but I thought I should add in the other 3; this is one of them. I’m over-due my next round of blood tests so as soon as the lockdown is over and I feel safe going to the surgery then I’ll have my bloodwork done and see if these new ones have helped any. One of the problems with NAFLD is that I have a very low immune system so catch everything that’s going so I need to take care but strangely it hasn’t made it onto the NHS list!These are capsules, which I find easier to swallow than tablets. There are 90 of them and you take 1-4 spread throughout the day with food, so they will last a maximum of 3 months.

I’ve not tried dandelion before, and I’ve not started this yet, because I’ve just started some prescription medication and want to settle with that before I start playing around with supplements again. Dandelion has a whole host of claims from immune booster, reducing blood pressure, lowering inflammation, UTIs, and others. All these claims are backed by at least some research and so have some basis in reality.This particular supplement contains both leaf and root extract (550mg per capsule). Vegan, kosher and halal are claimed for the capsule shell. The dandelion is Spanish and the product has a shelf life of around 18 months. Dosage is 1-4 capsules per day, so you’ve got anything between about 3 weeks and 3 months supply in this bottle. There appears to be nothing in the capsule other than dandelion so that’s good.Seems worth a try if you need what dandelion is offering.

Dandelion has been known to have health benefits for centuries, so it is great to see a full spectrum supplement containing both roots and leaves, for those of us who don't have access to the real thing, at least not unpolluted by exhaust fumes and/or animal waste.. It is an anti-oxidant, good for the immune system, supportive of the liver, and loads more as well. Definitely worth researching. This version is also in a vegan capsule and contains no fillers or junk chemicals, so the quality is excellent. The capsules are relatively small and are very easy to swallow.

i took it with uva ursis to avert a cystitis attack and it seemed to work. but honestly don't know if it was this the dandelion or the uva ursis. but will use again when I feel an attack coming on.
