I have only used this spatula once and it has already started to rust. I am very disappointed as it is stainless steel and I hand washed it once. I would not recommend this product.

I’ve never owned an icing spatula before. If my mother ever bothered making a round cake that wasn’t left in a cake pan, she frosted it with a butter knife. I didn’t even realize there was another way until I was an adult, and then I thought “why do I need a special tool for this, when a flat butterknife works just as well?”But it doesn’t. And having used this product, I know that now. I understand why you need to spend $6 on an icing spatula, because it really does make things easier (and look better).I’ll admit, despite the clear description of its size, I stupidly didn’t expect it to be quite so big. This isn’t a problem, it just takes up more space than I realized it would. So don’t be like me and ignore the thing right in the description, unless you also don’t mind that it’s going to be huge.At least I can use this for other things. I’m not sure exactly what other things yet, but I’m sure there are some.

 I saw this spatula in the "Frequently Bought Together" section when I purchased an Angel Food cake pan. It was an add on item, so I bought it. Thanks for letting me know, Amazon!  If you are like me, you want your cake and to it eat as soon as it's out of the oven.  But you can't.  The dang cake has has to cool.   Finally! Nope! You have to frost it.  Frosting is the worst part of cake making!  You're so close yet so far away as your mouth waters from your baking creation. The frosting!  It is taking so long.  At least that is how I feel.  When the icing spatula appeared in the "Frequently Bought Together" section, I decided to try it.  I bought the 13 inch spatula since it was only 38 cents more and an add on item. I bought the spatula with the goal of maintaining or improving the asthetics of my cakes and increasing speed.  I primarily bake Angel Food Cakes and this video shows my first time using it. The spatula acheived both objectives of speed and aesthetics.  It is well-made, sturdy, easy to clean and store.  This is worth purchasing.  I give it five stars and needless to say, it really puts the icing on the cake. 

Very good long spatula.. I use it to ice bigger surfaces.. LOVE IT! Don't leave it in water for too long tho.. it will get rusty water spots :-)
