I received this as a gift and it’s one of the best I’ve had. I’ve since bought several more bags and gifted a bag to my sister. Delicious, good texture and balanced sweetness!

So yummy. Not too sweet, great texture. Much lower sugar than a lot of other fried fruits.

Tastes great - wish there wasn't skin on them. These are awesome, but some of them have skin which is very chewy and difficult to swallow.

They don't taste like persimmons, but they are good. They are dehydrated, but look like they could easily be plumped up with liquid for cooking, etc. They only have 2 grams of sugar per 4 oz serving. I like the chewiness and are good when you feel you want something sweet, they are satisfying for me.

I love persimmons and these are in perfect potion size for an afternoon snack. they can also be used in pudding or cake once they are hydrated. They are expensive, but only if you have a producing tree you can pick them yourself. Plus most places do not carry them in any form.

These dried persimmon slices are pretty good, but not as good as others I have tried. They tend to be less flavorful and have more hard and tasteless slices than other brands being sold on Amazon. Other than that, they seem to be from the same supplier, just a little lower quality.Update August 2018: I have not purchased dried persimmons from this company since my original review, but the company sent me a 1-pound bag for free to see if my previous faults with the product have since been addressed. I have also become a bit of a dried persimmon connoisseur since my original review and here is my honest assessment: The bag I received contained lots of whole center-fruit slices that were mostly soft and chewy. However, the aroma and flavor of the fruit was somewhat "oxidized" or "old". The fruit had a rust-colored or brownish-orange hue where the best flavor of dried persimmons comes from slices that are vibrant red-orange (like a sunset).I have discovered in buying dried persimmons from various suppliers that orders placed between April and November (i.e. late after the peak growing season) tend to arrive with the more brownish hue and oxidized taste. Maybe it has to do with the fruit being collected past peak ripeness or maybe the dried persimmon slices do not have a shelf life as long as other dried fruit. I really don't know the reason. Since I received my bag in August, I am not surprised that I got off-tasting ones.My favorite dried persimmons are from TJ (smaller packages, higher quality bag material to keep oxygen out), but the ones I got most recently from this supplier are just okay and comparable to the other suppliers on Amazon.

I usually purchase another brand, but so glad I took a chance on Oh! Nuts after reading the good reviews. The dried persimmon is a sweet, tasty, and tender nutritious snack. My second purchase, I decided to purchase five pounds. I primarily use them for an after-dinner digestive aid I prepare using peeled and thinly sliced Ginger Root, Cinnamon Sticks, and dried Persimmon, a remedy you can find at the People's Pharmacy website. For me, the remedy known as Persimmon Tea helps prevent GERD and Gastritis much better than two prescription meds did for me. The price is right, too. We had been buying another brand, paying about $6 for a 4oz bag in a local market, so I am happy to get this brand for much less. As long as the product continues with the same quality and low price, I'll be a satisfied customer.

Just dry enough, not too thin. The best I've tried. But pricey.
