I absolutely adore these headphones and they have been my sidekick for so long
I am sad that it seems like this is not being sold anymore because I've had my pair for several years now and it fulfilled its purpose beautifully as bluetooth noise canceling headphones with amazing sound quality. These were my first listening devices that weren't cheap $15 ear buds so it was amazing hearing all the wonderful details in songs that I couldn't hear before. I also didn't realize how much bass these cans had until I recently got a pair of Sennheiser HD 600s and realized that for some genres like club and dance music, my AKGs can be more enjoyable to listen to. These are incredibly comfortable and it's a lifesaver for airplane flights, public cafes, or just being at home with family. The one caveat is that over time, especially if you lean back against seats a lot, the plastic above the cushions will crack. And also not to sound gross, but the cushion on top will smell like head grease after a while so make sure to clean it every now and then. It's a soft suede but I haven't had too much of an issue with a quick handwashing and drying. The cushions also stay soft and smooth for years and it's only been this year that they finally started peeling.Overall, I love these and will miss them when they go to headphone heaven.

Incredible quality and style. Intentionally limited.
Got these used like new for $90 and I am blown away! They are more compact than I expected, but still fit comfortably. The sound quality is incredible, especially with lossless audio. As with all headphones, the bass is not perfect but you can only do so much to simulate a decent subwoofer with a driver this size and AKG managed to do a phenomenal job. There are no dedicated play/pause or skip track buttons but the volume ones are conveniently located. The active noise cancelation (ANC) is amazing! It works very well, but when you hit the button to switch to passthrough mode, it lowers the volume of your music to almost imperceptible levels. I wish there were a third option that would overlay the two audio sources to emulate open-backed headphones, but alas. Battery life could be better, but I am getting 5-7 hours of use per charge, which is pretty good. Overall, these are fantastic and do exactly what they are supposed to do and nothing else.Edit: I was mistaken; there is a play/pause button between the volume buttons.

Good sound canceling and sound quality, but get insurance
Has great sound quality and sound canceling, but this product snaps easily at the joint and mine did break within a year on BOTH sides. I just duct taped it back together. Highly recommend insurance. If you search online, this break is common.

Excellent Headphones
I needed to find headphones I could use at night to watch TV without disturbing my sleeping wife. Additionally, I wanted them to be able to be used for my work video conferences. These have excellent connection and audio quality when connected to my Apple TV or iPhone. The range is surprisingly long, as I have been able to go outside in my yard while still maintaining the connection with a phone conference via my laptop inside. Additionally, they are comfortable to wear through many hours of meetings. The only room for improvement is with the quality of my voice when speaking in some of my calls. This can be addressed using the included cord with line mic, but I have only had to use that once. Lastly, the noise cancellation works effectively, although that was not a actual need for me, but may come in handy if I ever travel. Overall, I highly recommend these headphones.

So Nice
I'm not an audiophile. I like listening to music, period. I've always been a little wary of wireless headphones having bought some in the past that just weren't all that great. These ARE all that great! To me, the sound quality and noise cancelling ability of these headphones is every bit as good if not better than the much more expensive wired, so called studio quality headphones that I've made the mistake of purchasing in the past. I'm sure those who are music purists may disagree with some of this but for the money these are very superior headphones. The ability to equalize the sound through the app is great as I like a ton of bass. I haven't had the opportunity to try these in a very noisy environment yet for the noise cancelling aspect but as for day to day background sounds these work amazingly well.

I have both GEN1 and CM2 of AKG-N700, I'm gonna compare these two.
I have both GEN1 and CM2 of AKG-N700, I'm gonna compare these two.CM2 comes with a more firm and seamless sturdy build(feels like. The design is actually the same, and I like this design).CM2 has a stronger clamping force. CM2 comes with a little more thicker cup, this gives CM2 a much stronger grip on the head, thus CM2 is much more of a out door/ commuting orientation. In long hour sitting session, I prefer GEN-1. GEN-1 have bigger space inside cup and the lessor clamping force make it unreasonably comfortable in a long session, even though I know I had to hold my head for drinking water.CM2 comes with a smaller cache pack. Yes, GEN-1 pack is bulky and I can feel it in my back pack. However I think GEN-1 pack is more premium and actually can protect the headset better.CM2 can not adjust volume under "wired-ANC" mode. This is a bummer for me. I play xbox on gaming monitor and I use the monitor 3.5mm as outlet. This outlet is always at 100/100 volume so I have to rely on the GEN-1 N700 volume control to get the reasonable volume. When GEN-1 running low battery, the signal sound is very load, so loud it boost my bump when I'm in game. I wonder if they adjusted it in CM2.My roommate, she have smaller ears, said she like CM2 than GEN-1, OK,As for the sound, I blind trust the neutrality/fidelity sound of AKG. May this trust last for next 100 years.
