Commercial grade air cleaning, even for viruses that HEPA filters can't reduce.
While I have had my share of air cleaners/air purifiers before, this Alorair air scrubber is the first one that made me truly impressed at its power vs its size.So what is an air scrubber? It is basically a really aggressive air purifier, typically used by disaster recovery companies after fires/floods or mold infestations to make air safer to work in or even just walk through. When we had a pipe burst at our office building and ServiceMaster came out to deal with it, they set up commercial dehumidifier like the Storm Pro I recently reviewed https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0863Y61KN/they should have also added a few of these air scrubbers to help improve the air quality and reduce mold growth but they didn't and mold took over because they skipped using these. It is one thing to take water out of the air like a dehumidifier does, but you also need to collect and kill the bad stuff in the air as well. Now you are likely thinking "but my dehumidifier has an air filter so I don't need this".That would be incorrect. While the nicer dehumidifiers do have some air filtration, they aren't HEPA quality which means they capture some of the bad stuff but pass through a lot of it along with mold and viruses. Here is a tip: If you don't have a UV-C light, you aren't killing mold and viruses so they can continue to not only exist but grow (including on your HEPA filter). If you don't have a HEPA level filter, a lot of stuff sneaks through the air purifier. And improve the quality of your room's air, you need the air purifier to really move the air around. Most people have air purifiers in their homes and offices that are simply too small to handle the space they are used in. That means they help improve the air quality but not as much as they should be.While having an UV-C light (which kills mold and viruses) is always important (I will not purchase another unit without it) right now with CO-VID 19, even the best HEPA filters don't stop it. HEPA filters grab items as small as 0.3 microns while CO-VID 19 are 0.125 microns or smaller. Without a UV-C light, you are doing nothing to viruses. This unit is heavy, it is loud at its highest setting and it is expensive but it is all of those things for very good reasons. When you turn it on it sounds more like an HVAC air handler than a fan or an air purifier. That speaks to the quality of the unit. It has a dial that allows you to adjust the air volume to your needs--using this in an empty building, turn it on high. If you are using this in your home, you can turn it on low which is a lot quieter. With the volume of air this unit filters and moves, you would expect the case to shake or vibrate but it is solid as a rock and just sits there doing its thing. While you do have to purchase replacement filters and bulbs during its lifespan, they are cheaper than many of the small residential filters because Alorair doesn't seem to be keen on ripping you off but instead keeping you happy and coming back for other needs.I have commeiral purifiers that are louder than this unit but they move a lot less air through so you aren't get the cleaning power or reach of a unit like this.I highly recommend anyone running a business or office right now to think about investing in some of these to reduce the flu, CO-VID 19 and your legal liability compared to doing nothing. When one of your employee's or customers gets sick, you want to be able to say you did everything you could to prevent that from happening or you could be on the hook for millions in damages if they end up dying or giving it to someone who ends up dying. So stock up on hand sanitizer, face masks and a few of these units to save lives and reduce the chance of having people get sick from YOUR dirty air.

Impressive!
I’m so impressed with this. Rodents made their way through the foundation near my hvac system and died. The smell was awful. This beast of a machine scrubbed the air clean. Since then I’ve moved it to various rooms and within hours the room feels fresh and clean. It’s a little loud but well worth the results.

Just as good as the ones professionals use
I recently bought this for my restoration business that I started after my neighborhood had severe damage from Hurricane Helene and eater damage affected every house. The company we hired used one and after working on my house alongside them and helping my two neighbors homes, i realized I could do this on the side and decided to invest in an air scrubber. I would recommend doing your own research but this one is similar to the one that thr restoration company used so I bought it for the 3 stage filtration, how easy it is to use and set but also the price and its size (which is rather small). Depending on the size and damage they can be much more expensive but this was delivered quickly and had the 30 day return policy which I look cot just in case something happens or it arrives not working.

Adjustable speed, work well, not too heavy, not as easy to take apart and clean as I'd like.
Not too heavy, handle is easy to hold and makes it easier to move. It has an adjustable fan speed with the use of a dial. Has a GFCI plug on top so you can daisy chain other equipment from it. There is a really good length cord that can reach pretty far so you shouldn't have to use extension cords for most projects. The cords also light up so you can visually see when they are powered. Easy to replace filters and the hard plastic is easy to wipe down and clean. I wish it was easier to fully break down and clean however, the inside and fan can't be fully accessed to clean as easy as needed to makes sure you are not cross contaminating from one location to another. It is possible, with more struggle than wanted and only if you have little hands. Other than the ease to clean its a good fan, good suction, a port for hose attachment for setting up negative air containment. Check out my photos for a closer look and I hope this was helpful.

Quiet and Effective
Works well. Strong air circulation and best of all quiet operation. After using large noisy fans this was a dream. We used it after flooding due to storm surge from a hurricane. Definitely worth the money and peace of mind knowing the house was drying out.

Good for remodeling to redirect airflow
This air cleaner has been a fantastic purchase for me, and I am thrilled with the quality results. I bought it for remodeling, and set it up by the widow to maintain a negative air pressure in the room having work done. It sucked the air right up with vigorous power, and kept the dust contained really well. I really appreciate the GFCI outlet on it, which lets me charge my batteries and phone without taking up any more outlet space or needing a splitter. Overall I've put it through pretty heavy use in the past three weeks and I've been extremely satisfied thus far. 5/5 stars.

Alorair Scrubber
This does not remove the filaments you see when the sunlight beams in the right direction. I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew this. Filters are too expensive.
