Simple, effective, well-made, and NO SHEDDING!
I've had some mixed experiences with synthetic brushes. But, from a general guiding principle of "be nice to other living things unless you absolutely have to kill that thing to survive," I like this brush even better vs. a real animal-hair, wood-and-nickel-handle silver tip I had some 10-15 years ago.Yes, the natural silvertip was really, really, really good. This brush is also really good. Wicks and holds water well enough to whip a good lather. Dense knot, no shedding at all. The fibers are both soft (on the skin) and dense (can take a bit of pressure on the puck and during the lather whip). Substantial handle with good grip. This brush "feels" a bit different vs. natural animal hair, but getting used to that difference took 3 shaves at MOST.My only advice to a new user would be "be careful the amount of water." The wicking action on this brush is really almost **TOO** good!I love this brush. If you have read any of my other shave-related reviews, you know praise that high is rare: I'm something of an "old school shave" addict, so I take my products pretty seriously.

Impressive brush for the price
Great synthetic brush, incredibly soft and supple after a couple uses, dries fairly quick and has what I feel is a perfect weight. Wet shaving is something you should enjoy in all aspects and in that I enjoy the color of the bristles, the bright grey to black to white ratio, the feel of the handle which is bigger then i thought which is a good thing, whips up cream relatively quick and holds it very well, almost to well when ur rinsing it from after use. For the price I'd say it is well worth it and can't wait to continue using it as the years go by. The sparkle In the handle is a nice touch as well.

Perfect Travel Brush
Very impressed with this brush. My main brush at home is a Razorock Big Bruce and I like the synthetic bristles quite a lot. I travel for work a lot and I needed a dedicated brush just for my dopp kit, and I didn't want to spend a lot on it in case my luggage was lost or damaged. The first brush I ever bought was made by this company, and it REALLY sucked. Smelled terrible, the bristles were poorly shaped and the knot was disproportionately light weight compared to the wet brush. So I didn't have high hopes for this brush, but I still got it because of the price point.Once I actually used it, though, it turned me around. The knot is big and easy to grip, and it has a good look to it. And it has good balance and a decent weight. The synthetic bristles feel and perform identically to my Big Bruce, which really surprised me. I couldn't ask for a better travel brush. But it gets 4 stars because of some small gripes. When I first got it, there were 7 or 8 bristles that I had to trim because they just wouldn't sit right no matter what I did. I expect that from a natural badger or boar brush, but synthetic bristles should be perfectly uniform. And the semi-transparent handle also allows you to see the glue job where the bristles meet the knot, which is sloppy and uneven. When flexed, you get the impression that this lazy glue job will eventually fail, and it might be why those bristles had to be trimmed in the first place. While it performs as well as the Razorock brush, I don't believe this will stand the test of time if used daily.Since I only use it when I travel, that's not really a big deal to me. It'll take a hundred business trips' worth of shaves before I wear this out. But if you're looking for something for your home game, I think you'll find the aesthetics, workmanship and longevity lacking in the long run.

Decent brush - Clownishly large travel tube
The brush seems decent. Bristles are moderately firm with very minimal initial shedding - specifically 2 hairs. The travel case is 2.25 inches in diameter and just over 5.25 inches long, when fully closed/compacted. A bit too large for travel. A bit overpriced at $15.
