You won't really notice the pink skin tone once you arrange them with the Christmas Village buildings. They become part and a great addition to the festive scene.

Do they look sunburned or strange or do they just look Caucasian?

These resemble caucasian figurines. The have a white/pinkish skin tone.

How big is each figure? They spend two inches?

Two to four inches in height sounds about right for figures and trees that are specifically Lemax Village Holiday. There are some trees available that are taller, but it all works with the buildings. I use hidden items to create levels under my "snow blanket" cover, that helps it all look realistic and lovely. I hope this helps.

Are these figures the same as department 56 figures?

No, they are made by Lemax. They are between 2.75" to 3.25" and they go really well with any Christmas/Holiday Village scene that has streets and shopping buildings. Very colorful and unique item. Thank you!
