Lizard Skins Bat Taper Grip Enhancer – Flared Bat Taper & Standard Bat Taper

i added this to my sons bbcor bat with lizard skins 1.1 bat grip and he absolutely loves it. he says it feels like a whole new bat and reduced sting even more than stock configuration. i recommend 10/10.

Is very simple to install. I added some electrical tape to secure it in place since the two side tape that comes with it doesn’t really hold it.Then I wrapped the bat with a 0.5 lizard skin bat wrap and the result is amazing. Feels like a totally different bat. Highly recommend it

Gives the bat a great feel

I'm not a fan of non-flared bat handles, so these grips are great add. In the past I would usually just layer up some additional tape under the bat grip to fatten it up a little, but these tapers make it much easier. I have both the standard and flared products and have used both in cage and game situations. The standard grip gets you closer to many wooden bats tapers and is pretty comfortable. I've recently switched to primarily using the flared taper, though. This fattens up the handle to the point where it can transition smoothly into the knob, which is particularly nice for those who get their pinky or ring finger on or under the knob.I did have to trim both a little to work on some narrow-handle bats I have. It came with double-sided tape to stick to the handle, but you'll still want to wrap the taper with electrical tape or similar to help the grip stay in place. Other notable is that the taper shape can make it a little difficult to get the handle wrap (grip tape) to sit nice and flat without wrinkling the edges. You'll need to stretch the grip a little tighter than normal and do more overlap to avoid this.

fits pretty good, I always tape mine down with vinyl tape to close the gap (similar to The Goods factory flare) I have the large and standard, and large is like a 271 knob (kind of a no knob flare like warstic uses) and standard one is similar to what comes on the stinger nuke/The Goods. My son prefers the standard and I install them on all his bats. Won't work on Warstic bats since the flared knob is one solid piece. And I should repeat that people who are trying to install it over existing grip aren't following directions!

The general idea and feel of the thing is nice. However, it was a bit too large to fit my regular ol' 33/30 Rawlings and had to be trimmed a bit to make full contact with the aluminum and tape, no biggie. After that, trying to wrap tape around it is awkward and really wanted to move around on me. I get it has to be soft to be able to put it on but its a bit too squishy in my opinion. Looking back I really wish I would have wrapped some electrical tape or hockey tape around it before trying to apply the Lizard Skin tape. It would have held better before the final wrap I think.

Great taper for a bat. Take the old grip off. Put on taper. Put a new grip over it. Really easy and works perfect. I had to trim just a little bit off with a razor because it was a little loose on the bat when wrapped all the way around but it worked out perfect
