Works great! I am a salesman for a building supply. I get calls all the time that my door is hard to open or shut. Sometimes it is an old door just sagging or others are brand new but installed improperly. I can go and look at it and see which hinge is the problem. I pull the pin, shim the door where it needs to set and bend each nuckle to realign them so the pin can go back in. Install pin and remove shim. Door is fixed. For new installs it saves a return and on existing doors I lose the sale. If you do it this way you don't scuff the hinge or bend the tool. It the people who try and bend the whole hinge with the pin in that have trouble. Great tool!

Works really well. I have spent countless hours shimming, chiseling, fiddling with hinges to adjust a door to fit. This tool avoids all that extra work. I can "tune" a door to fit in short order. Great idea

This wrench is a nice tool to have in the box, it makes it easier to bend the hinges but it still scratches the hinges and trim the same as a standard wrench. I like having the pin attached to the wrench so it doesn’t go missing but the way it’s set up makes it to where the wrench scratches the door or trim as you tap the pin out because it rubs against the door if you leave it in the wrench.

This is my third knuckle bender. The first two I bought a long time ago and they both broke yesterday. I was gonna get on here and leave a bad review but then I saw that they had worked on the problem. So I took a chance and bought a third one. I just used it on two heavy residential doors. Security door doors. It performed perfectly and I had the doors fixed in seconds.Great job, listening to your customers and developing a better, higher quality product.

The idea is great, and the tool is easy to use. Compared to the other methods of fixing a door that is out of alignment this one is much easier and faster.Unfortunately there are some quality problems with the tool. First, the wrench itself is very cheaply made. Made of poor quality steel - it is easy to bend and break, I have had three of them now - so its not just a quality control problem - it is a lack of overall quality problem.Pull too hard and you will bend the bottom (thin) part of the jaw - rendering the tool useless. The adjustment thumb wheel "kind of" works when new, and if used hard will just jamb.The storage for the hinge pin removal tool is a nice idea, but poorly executed. There is a magnet in a plastic part to hold the hinge pin removal tool in place. Unfortunately the magnet is free to move - and moves into a position that prevents the hinge pin removal tool from being able to be inserted back into the hole.If they started out with a better quality wrench and improved the hinge pin removal tool storage system they would have a nice, useful tool. Of course this would cost a little more, but to me it would be worth it - better than having to buy multiples to have one that works.As it is, it "kind of" works.
