Replacement Battery for Huawei Smart Watch 1st Gen/Watch Gen 1, HB442528EBC Battery with [Set of Screws] and Tool Repair Kit

I noticed the battery life of my Huawei watch had severely declined so I decided to give this battery a try. I was very impressed that all tools and a perfect-fit battery were provided at such a great price. Getting the old battery out was a bit tricky since the adhesive still had a strong hold, but it eventually did come free. The old battery had swollen to about twice the new thickness so this was definitely needed. I haven't checked to make sure the battery capacity seems back to new condition but the capacity rating printed on the battery matches that of the original battery. If I find this to not be the case I'll update my review.

I purchased this battery to replace the original one in my first generation Huawei watch. A battery and screwdriver set came together as advertised. Following a couple YouTube videos, the battery swap took maybe 15 minutes. The swap was simple to do, and my watch now gets a bit over 24 hours on a charge while paired to my phone (Pixel 7 Pro). Definitely worth the money!

Bought it Sept 2023 and it started malfunctioning 5-6 months in until it finally stopped working around July. I can’t charge the watch now. It just gets hot and shows a battery symbol with an X in it

The battery fits well and works and the tools included helped to get the watch open. However, the adhesive that's included is not very effective at all... I had to get separate RTV sealant to seal the watch back together.

All as expected, except the watch doesn't boot when I'm done. Double checked all screws and connections internally. Bought a spare charging cradle. Have 5V dc between pins 1 and 4 as expected. The watch did show the HuaWei logo the first time I applied power, but now just shows the battery with a lightning bolt inside. The battery shows only 1 bat across the bottom no matter how long you charge. After an hour or so, the watch become quit hot.When holding the crown button the Charging will go off then back on for just a moment. When press and hold crown button get a "haptic buzz" at 10 seconds, and again at ~ 14.5 seconds. The new battery looks like it was bent and pulled around some... the battery lead was in a different position than it seems it should be. I've "done the process" 3 times, double checked all wiring connectors internally, and screws are of the proper length..At this point I'd suspect the battery is not right. It was a bit "oily" when received, I could send more detailed photos of the interior if needed.

Gave my watch a second chance and I'm ecstatic about it. It kept dying in like 3 hours. Replaced the battery with this one and now it lasts a few days, almost like new. Super happy and great buy.

This was way easier than I expected and it fit perfectly. 6 screws in total, more tools are provided than you need. Watch started up again very happy with this purchase.
