PERFECT
I was unable to find the door seal for our front door at the local big box store. The previous renter’s dog chewed the seal all the way up 30” and we had a bad draft with sunlight and insects while the door was closed. This seal matched the specific type we had and worked perfect.

Good product
Replaced the 12 year old weather stripping that was around our front entry door; that product was a cloth over foam and i wanted to try something different (old cat clawed holes in the fabric of the one I replaced). This installed easily and the kinks from how it is packaged have worked their way out since installation. I can't vouch for longevity and probably won't remember in 10 years to revisit this review; if it fails before then, like in the next 3 years, I certainly will report back to downgrade. I like how it is functioning. I wish they would sell a shorter version for the top of the door or add enough length for a typical 3' wide door...or even a roll that has enough length for both sides and the top....but they don't. I also wish for world peace and an ice cold diet mountain dew waiting for me at work when I arrive in the morning and neither of those has happened yet either.

Perfect fit in the door and a LIFETIME warranty!!!
I honestly can't believe I actually bought the correct insulation strip! It was for the inside of the door jam on the left as you leave. It was a mess in there and there was more wind coming in than there was outside. I watched a few of the Frost King Videos which were only good if they actually went to the job and showed us.They said for this to look for a long narrow slit in the existing door jam and if we saw it to get this product. I saw it but had no idea it was made to hold this kind of product. So I ordered it. It cam today and like a miracle (doesn't take much for me) it slid right into the slot and freakin' stayed there!!! I cut off 4 inches at the bottom because it was longer than the door. That's it. That's really it. For the first time in a long time the thing I ordered did what I envisioned it to do. Only bad thing is now, I'll have to invest in a fan.

It installs easily into the door frame's slot
This material seems to be of higher quality so I'm expecting it to last. It installs easily into the door frame's slot. My problem is my door was made with a huge gap between the door and the stops - this weatherstripping couldn't handle that much gap but it's not the fault of the weatherstripping, just my goofy door.

Not the color shown on line
Weather strip is high quality, but not "black" as advertised on Amazon. Box says brown. Item is brown. Deciding whether to keep or send back.

This product fit my existing Aluminum Stop
Worked really when in existing aluminum stop that has to be older than 2006 (how much older, I don't know, bought house in 2006). Easy to install, only one part that had been dented in took more effort but still worked fine.

Significant difference compared to foam equivalent
Replaced older foam style door jam weather stripping. It's cold here now in CO(12/2023), so can readily tell by feel and by IR thermal gun the improvement. Only complaint is that it kinks when wound up for packaging but doesn't appear to affect performance.

Weatherproofed drafty 1830's door
This worked perfectly for the original doors on our 1830's farmhouse. The strip inserted perfectly in a saw cut in new stops that we made and is soft enough to conform to the warping that occurred over the years. The doors close with ease and haven't been this draft free in over 100 years.
