A must have for learning Kanji!
Great learning tool! The pictures definitely make it easier to remember the letters. Also, customer service is great. I spilled water on my cards, and the company offered to replace them free of charge.

Fun and Engaging, Perfect for Beginners
Dr. Moku's Kanji Flash Cards are an excellent, fun way to get into learning kanji, especially if you're just starting out or looking for a more interactive method. The cards are visually appealing and make studying a more enjoyable experience, which is great for kids or anyone who prefers a less traditional approach to learning. However, they might be a bit tricky to incorporate into a more structured study routine, especially if you're following a specific method like RTK. Still, as a supplementary tool, they’re a great way to reinforce kanji recognition in a playful, low-pressure way.

The best way to learn Kanjis! Free app
I have used many books, and apps to learn Japanese. As a visual learner, this product is perfect! I wish the price was lower, but I later found out that you get the app content for free (I think it was like a $16 value for ALL the contents for Korean, Japanese, Arabic and Chinese) If you email them after buying a physical copy the will send you a voucher code to redeem it. To me, I feel like that offset the price. I also bought the hiragana and katakana. I'm very pleased. With both products and the app! I hope more Kanjis are coming.

Fun analogies
I just started my Japanese learning and the examples are nice, the set is easy to carry on my bag and practice when I have some free time. I would say the material is a light duty lamination so some wrinkles can show, but still a good resource plus once you buy the card you will receive the app with the same content so that was a nice surprise for me.

So much fun!
These cards are really helpful and fun to use! There is so much useful detail and explanation packed into each card but done in a clean and visually concise format. Kanji is very challenging to learn and all the little explanation on the associations between different symbols helped make so much more sense than just memorizing the symbols on their own. Highly recommend!

High quality
I purchased these to help learn Japanese. They are high quality and seem useful for most ages. They seem childish, but when I learned to speak English I was a child. I don't see why people don't start a new language like children do. I have no regrets.

Mnemonic images bizarre they're mostly useless or counterproductive, but otherwise great
A great number of the pictures meant to help you remember the kanji are so bizarre they're downright confusing/I have no clue what meaning they could possibly be trying to convey. Some of them even to the point of making me doubt my correct memorizations... However, there are a few for which the images they used were actually helpful instead and the cards are sturdy and arrived in a timely fashion. The card layout also included all the information for each kanji that I was looking for.

Well made, great mnemonics, easy to understand
The media could not be loaded. I am just starting to study Japanese and am mostly still memorizing Hiragana & Katakana however I saw these and thought they would make a great addition and they do not disappoint. If you're looking for Kanji flashcards....these are it! Another reviewer complained that they mnemonics were not good, but I'd like to point out that mnemonics are not necessarily just to give you a visual and isn't there to "be pretty" it's there to help you remember...and these get a 10/10 for me.
