Does the job of charging the battery.
Does charge the battery, however the display of the percentage is just a gimmick, it’s off by at least 20-25%. I bought three different batteries and same results. So just purchase if you need a charger and don’t count on the charge display to be accurate.

Doesn't look like these are new old stock. The batteries last 5-6 hr and charger is great for spares.

This charger was the only device able bring my completely "dead" Sony PSP battery back to life (the stock PSP charger did not even recognize a battery was inserted). Once the battery is inserted, it gives you feedback via the display as to 1) a battery is connected and 2) charging percentage. This is a very useful (dare I say, necessity) for any PSP owner in 2023. If it weren't for this device, I would be purchasing another battery...which I no longer need to do.

Must have for PSP
If you still play PSP, this is a must have. Can't find my factory charger and my 3001 doesn't like aftermarket chargers plus using a newer battery, so this charger keeps me powered up between batteries. It has both A and C charge sockets, comes with a C cord but it is very short.
