Key fob
This was a great buy. I had lost my spare for my truck about a year ago & the dealer & a locksmith would have cost me around 5 to 6 hundred dollars. This one from AMAZON was about $50 & I got it programmed at ACE hardware for $45. I saved a lot of money by getting one from you guys.

Doesn't work with F150
Bought this key fob for my 2016 F150, had to pay Ford $80 to program it just for it to only work 1 week. The dealership said it's the key itself and that they see it all the time. Waste of $40 (Key) + $80 (programming fee) because now I have to buy an actually ford key and pay the programming fee again.

A Must have!
I haven't lost car keys in a long time, but Was going on vacation and since the original owner didn't supply 2 keys when he traded this truck, I thought it to be better to have and not need, especially on Vaca, with no dealer close by. This works perfectly, cost $75 to program and $35 to have the key cut, which I debated, but if the glove box is locked when you loose you main key, then it's back to the dealer. The locksmith would have sold me a key there, programmed for $175, so I really didn't save much by purchasing on AMZ. I'd check with a good locksmith that does these keys next time around. They may be a little better quality. Time will tell, But a normal person couldn't tell this from factory, it just doesn't have the Ford logo on it.

Saved me a ton of money
Lost one of my truck keys and did not like the idea of not having a functional backup. Ford dealership wanted a king's ransom to get me a new one so I went the Amazon route and bought this and paid a local locksmith $100 to program to my truck. It worked flawlessly and now I do not have to sweat losing my truck key. Hope that helps.

There is no better than the FORD one!
Not well built. They both fell apart and they both have many design flaws. Definitely not better than an OEM one. Both cases were quite flawed. The one with the circuit card didn’t function as well. Spent a lot of money trying to make the one with the electronics function and failed with major expense. The metal attachment rings pulled out of the case in less than a week. Both of the plastic cases need modifications to be dependable. This is the truth based on facts!

Worked as advertised
This key worked as advertised. While not an OEM key, the key worked. When ordering key fobs, ensure that the fob matches your key for exactly. I my case, my 2015 Ford F-150 has an automatic unlocking tailgate. I ordered a key fob some time ago that did not include that feature on the fob. I had to return it because it didn't work. Once you receive the fob, you will need someone to program it for you. Programming runs about 75-80 dollars.

Difficult to Program
Took it to the dealership for programming. They got it accomplished but the technician ended up writing code to do it.
