Better than I expected. This thing is solid. Perfect fit for the ARK-705 cage.

Nicely made. Not totally sure that it is needed. All RF connections are BNC. I use thin cables and keep everything short for easy travel

And it’s the only one that will work with it, so if buying the 705 cage get this as well. Both the cage and this antenna support are excellent pieces of kit, and I no longer worry about handling my 705 a certain way. Well worth the investment if you dropped the coin to get a 705.

This support works as advertised however the hardware is not the best quality as I have had problems with the screws not meshing well and the use of soft metal.

My signal was becoming intermittent so I removed the pl-259 connector to investigate. The center pin came out of the so-239 to bnc adaptor. There was no evidence of solder on the joint to the male bnc center pin. Beware this could be a weak spot. Mine broke before the 30 day return period so I am requesting a replacement. The vendor did replace the entire kit quickly so I am upgrading review to 5 stars.

On two (2) separate copies of the device, the gold center conductor socket easily slides out of the SO-239 side of the adapter when any PL-259 is connected and then removed. The first time it happened, I emailed Windcamp and they responded fast to their credit by sending me a replacement. However, the same thing happened to the replacement. Thus, the quality of the adapter is terrible. The rest of the device is quality, and it's a great idea. But, with the terrible adapter, it leaves much to be desired. One would think another make of 90 degree BNC to SO-239 adapter could be purchased. Wrong. It's a custom sized adapter so the square corner will properly fit inside the body of the RC-2 frame. Thus, I don't recommend the product until they fix the adapter. Unless, you are willing to take the risk with the socket pulling out and losing it in the fileld rendering it completely unusable.
